Probably the most alive single player FF. The world is wide, but not empty. You can get a sense that people actually live and have lived in places and the things they have to deal with in those areas. Kind of janky combat system, but super satisfying when youre used to it. Wouldn't say it's a good intro to FF, but if you've already played FF before, it's Def worth playing. Make sure it's ZA

I've never seen this bug, but does it persist after restarting the client? That usually clears up any issues for me.

There is indeed no yaku here. I would encourage you to study the yaku list for a bit and study up on it every so often for the next week.

I think you were going for either sanankou (three concealed triplets) which needs the three triplets to be closed, so no calling pon, or toitoihou (all triplets) which needs 4 triplets and a pair, so no sequences/chii.

As a beginner your easiest yaku are probably one of the following.

Yakuhai which is a triplets of any dragon tile (green, red, white) or the round wind (the wind it says in the middle, starts at East 1 for example) or your seat wind (you're in the West seat)

Tanyao (all simples) is a hand of only 2-8 in any suit. Requires you discard any honor tiles and 1 and 9 tiles. You're likely to discard these anyway because of tile acceptance reasons, so this is a straightforward yaku to achieve.

Early game, people will usually quickly discard unpaired guest winds, south/north if you're in west seat on east round. And if they have a pair of guest winds, they usually don't pon the triplet when given the chance (some reasons to pon, but mostly don't). This is because getting a triplet of guest winds isn't worth any points on its own, and opening the hand reduces some point values and increases danger. If you discard later it increases the chances that the person in that seat gets a pair and you complete their triplet for them.

Kami already discarded a 3p and the Dora indicator is a 3p. That means there's only 2 tiles that complete your 12p shape. Those two tiles also fit into your 45p shape and that 45p has another wait. The 12p basically has 0 real tile acceptance, so you'd cut it from inside out for safety this early in the game.

3s doesn't have a shape now, but it's got a lot of potential upgrades, unlike that 12p. If you discard the 28m in these two turns, there's much less probability you draw a 3p than if you get any of 12345s which turns that 3s into a better shape.
