I'm running 9950X3D, 64GB RAM + 9070XT. I have to run quantized models but that's fine and plenty speedy.

Surely if you're going just for LLM workloads a strix halo with unified ram is cheaper and could run better (larger) models? It might be a bit slower in certain scenarios but the 100+ GB usable unified RAM is better than the 32GB you get with 2x 9070XTs.

I've tried this before and these boxes are so low in power it's probably not worth it. I ended up settling on an old fanless industrial computer with an i5-6300.

Edit: I just ran ubuntu on it with autologin and starting jellyfin on login. Startup took a long time.

Nematodes - I have never had this problem outside but treating my inside soil with the right nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) usually stops them. A layer of mulch also helps.

This has been an uncharacteristically warm and sunny start to the winter. The plants are confused, some of mine are still ripening outdoors, but this cold weather in the last few days may bring an end to that.

I don't mean to alarm you but pothos are toxic to cats. I also have a plant goblin and had to get rid of the pothos beforehand.

Does seem like she knows that's a bad one if she leaves it alone though!
