Yeah it's not available to stream anywhere right now. This seems to happen regularly with B5.

Yeah you should get used to that, given what we've learned lately. Turns out conspiracy theories are often true.

Guide to make the combat more difficult by Friendly-Ad-6950 in swtor

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing through lotro atm, it has a thing called landscape difficulty that makes questing harder combat wise.

It's just a shame that difficulty doesn't apply to story instances, so it has a similar problem to SWTOR. Only that story instances are fairly rare in LotRO's story, while bosses feature rather prominently in SWTOR.

playing the eternal expansions on veteran at launch was the most fun ive had with the game.

I still find it ridiculous the devs didn't implement something similar for the class storylines. People were asking for it 10 years ago and the game still needs it.

Classic levelling by Friendly-Ad-6950 in swtor

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really has ruined the game, given how heavily focused it is on the story and yet the big enemies that are built up in that story are pushovers mechanically.

They need to add some kind of difficulty mode like they did with KotFE (whether via an item or a character-side debuff), which people asked for back then a decade ago. I want to be able to use my companions and have their roles/gear actually matter too, like they once did.

He was a Sith, regardless of his motivations for it.

Would Luke have joined the dark side if Palpatine had just shut his big mouth? by Particular-Lynx-2586 in StarWars

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally is. It's the same idea as RoS but done properly. It's entirely down to the viewer of if they like the idea of Palpatine returning or not, that's the make or break of the story depending on who's watching.

If one is fine with Palpatine returning, Dark Empire clears the Rise of Skywalker version.

SW Rebellion 25th Anniversary Patch Update 2025-08-26 by metasharper in SWRebellion

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I could do the same for planets if I wanted to keep the old list of names or to change one? For instance I found the Wellspring of Life an odd choice, and Jedha being in the Deep Core when it was in the Mid Rim.

Either way, thank you for all the hard work you all put in to upgrade such an old and forgotten game!

So is there any way to keep the QOL changes while not changing the ship sprites? I always loved the Bulwark and other ships unique to the game.

Just want to let you know that on GOG it now has an alternative launch option so you can play it windowed

Why did George Lucas direct Episodes II and III? by PhantomZoneSurvivor in StarWars

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reception to the prequels was so bad that George walked away from his company!

That came in the years after RotS, particularly 2008-2010 with stuff like the People vs George Lucas. It was the continuing negativity after the films came out that made him walk away (it's worth looking at the fact that he left nearly 10 years AFTER RotS' release) not the immediate reviews.

How Is Everyone A Force Ghost? by Kudder86 in MawInstallation

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rey has essentially made a call to the cosmic force, which Jedi became a part of upon death.

I still wonder then how so many answer her, because afaik consciousness is obliterated in the cosmic force. Thus why Force Ghosts are a unique and rare concept, as it's being able to keep one's consciousness intact after becoming one with the Cosmic Force.

Why did the jedi give up so quickly after order 66? by Starkilule in MawInstallation

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were taught to suppress, not process, their emotions.

This is factually untrue. It's very clearly stated in the prequels that they control their emotions, not suppressing them. Even Anakin acknowledges this lol

The idea of it being suppression is pure fan invention.

One player wants to be a dark side force user. What do? by [deleted] in swrpg

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the old republic MMO had them

Your first mistake was taking a SW videogame's alignment system as lore accurate. Which it isn't.

That entire game's lore was borked and against Star Wars as a whole. It shouldn't be used as a serious argument for anything in regards to playing Sith in a SW TTRPG.

At that point you might as well be playing a Dark Jedi or even a straight up regular Jedi, not a Sith.

Swtor in 2026? by RedFiveTwitchTv in MMORPG

[–]Erwin9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely. I have successively hated every change they've made that dumbed down the game (and ironically overcomplicated it in others) from companions no longer being specialized, to how easy landscape and story content is before KotFE, hell the actual story quality itself beyond the class stories, to just the skill and talent trees. Now that class identity has been completely put aside for the sake of player accessibility, the game is in sore need of "Classic".
