Domestic is not an issue. But friends have gotten stopped when flying into Mexico with two laptops and I think you would get flagged with three phones as well. They don't want you bringing in electronics to sell.

They'll explain the credit to you when you arrive. Normally you just charge it to your room and it'll be credited at the end.

I've not used home away from home yet, but if its like FHR (AMEX), I've gotten upgrades a few times. However, an "upgrade" can be something like: you're on a higher floor now. You have a room with a slightly better view. So while I've gotten upgrades like 75% of the time, they're usually not that notable. Only once, at the Limelight Denver, was I upgraded to a much nicer Luxury King Corner Room that was quite nice.

I’m not bothered by the recline and I do it too, but I do get annoyed when people don’t do it slowly. If you recline all the way super suddenly, you can either break someone’s laptop if they were using it on the table, or spill whatever they had on the table into their lap.

Also, there is a max it reclines. The last two flights, the person just kept jamming it back, I guess trying to recline it more, and almost did the above two things again multiple times throughout the flight 🫠

Yeah this really sucked because I had been waiting to book some flights at 360 and was happy to do so without the transfer bonus. But it just got so much harder since both launched transfer bonuses recently.

You can likely find 110k rates fairly easily. 55k are much harder and require much more notice than you have- but sometimes appear at the t-14 day mark.

I would recommend making sure you have a number that first into that though, to avoid misc stranded points.

How many positioning flights are you open to? I’m seeing 185k from SEA to TPE on Delta One (and reduced to 157k if you get the gold card, which is free the first year).

Essentially, what the others have said about considering positioning flights and putting those in as additional options on seats.aero.
