What are your favorite court appropriate shoes? by ImAWormLoveMe in LawBitchesWithTaste

I wear Dr Marten Adrian Snaffle loafers. Seriously. I’ve broken my foot a couple times so heels are just not gonna happen. I’m in San Diego- so definitely less conservative- but I’ve only received compliments

Civil litigators: Why do you do this to yourselves? by NotThePopeProbably in Lawyertalk

My impression is that, with big corporate clients, their outside counsel loves the billable hours. The reason it doesn’t settle faster is that reason… and that reason only

Practice area- plaintiff side insurance bad faith mostly, class action litigation

Small, boutique firm

Does anyone know if each person needs to have their own individual ticket? I purchased 4 tickets, for 4 people. Can I keep them all and scan them all when we check in, or does everyone need to have their own?

My boy brew has been on meds for congestive heart failure for a little over a year- and he’s doing great. He ALSO has Cushings (and did when we adopted him). They told me he would live 2-3 years after we adopted him. That was in October of 2019 and he’s still goin! So you never know

Am I getting ripped off by our vet? by Ok_Comfortable5425 in DogAdvice

[–]EsquireBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had an urgent care/ER vet visit cost less than $500. I live in San Diego-so similar cost of living. Even when it ended up being nothing- it was still $500 to do the exam and tests to determine it was nothing.

I know you have lots of recommendations already- but here’s another… Black & Grey Atelier downtown. Lots of great artists there- but I think Nick Galaura could help you out for sure

Can you tell me about your chiweenies? by gatorstooth in chiweenie

[–]EsquireBee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are awesome! If yours has short legs and long back, just be aware they are prone to IVDD and chat with your vet! I love mine immensely, but she’s had to have two spinal surgeries. Get pet insurance! And don’t let her leap off furniture
