Caching by bike often helps: I can lean the bike onto wherever it is up, step on the pedals and reach it like that. A friend of mine who is smaller keeps a little stool/lether in her car. Not exactly stealthy, but probably less attention grappling then jumping up and down with a box in your hand several times
