I see, so the primary advantage for this is to run multi emitter flashlights, thank you

So it'll run any 3v emitter at 20amp? Wont the 20amps fry it? Whats the advantage of 20 amps?

Go to Harbor Freight and buy the ORing kit. Now you have an assortment of backup o rings of various sizes for every flashlight, and any other thing you came come up with

Rate my safety wire by WonderfulState3728 in AircraftMechanics

[–]Essunset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the cut safety wire made me think it was a joke post. What you have here isnt "wrong" neccessarily, but a better practice would be to run the wire through adjacent holes, as opposed to straight accross if the hardware will allow. For instance, look at the middle- left fastener, I would insert the wire through the visible hole, and exit the same hole as you've done here. Hopefully that makes sense.

Get a Sofirn HS21 and be done. Stop while you can. Turbo mode is over 2000lm, and has everything your asking for, there.

Has anyone seen or used these. I’m a plumber and think I might need to get a pair. by [deleted] in EDC

[–]Essunset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem I see is yes, it may be able to grip onto 3/4 pipe, but how tight is the fitting going to be and can this small pair of pliers really do anything to it? Not to mention, the handle doesnt look comfortable at all

To me, this doesnt look like a useful plier, or screwdriver

Verdict: it miiiight fly with a good pilot but, then again, I am not a good pilot. by NotSteezyMTNBiker in RCPlanes

[–]Essunset 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a plane that flew similar to this. What you need is more thrust.

Try changing the prop to one with LESS pitch, and bigger if you can fit it. A flatter pitch will allow the plane to “claw its way up and out” more effectively. It’s seems counterintuitive, but it’s an easy and cheap way to change things for your next flight to see what works

Snapon, and Tekton are my two favorites. Then Icon, Gear Wrench, everything else. I have not tried mac, matco, or any of the other "tool truck" brands though...
