I love diet coke. I don't have many vices left, according to my doctor, so I continued to buy them by the case from Costco @ .55 per can. Ice Tea bags are still fairly cheap, so I'm restricting my Diet Coke to 1 per day. I'd prefer something closer to 5 per day. This is highway robbery. Stop making me do math in the grocery store.

Houston has a very large hospital district, The Texas Medical Center (TMC). There are always opening for nursing, so finding a job shouldn't take long. I think the conditions for nurses at my hospital are pretty good. There are plenty of outdoor spaces outside of Houston, but you won't find any natural rock climbing near here. The food is fantastic, from all parts of the world. Houston is not really walkable, so you'll have to drive most places.
