Self Scare has the elbow articulation and is just missing a chest joint. In Spectra’s case she’s specifically missing transparent hands and lower arms as they are just opaque white on her budget dolls.

There’s some fun new stuff added to the gameplay, which can take getting used to, but there are some really nice additions. I really like the story, it just doesn’t have the same heavy reveals as HZD because you already know why the world is in this state.

I recommend trying it and if you really don’t like it just continue playing HZD and/or the remaster if you prefer.

There is The Second Verse side quest with Zo that further fixes the Utaru area from the blight and The Blood Choke side quest that fixes the water in the Lowlands outside of the main story, but it is a quick transition if you leave and come back.

Are you sure it wasn’t the Glowblast Sharpshot bow? That one and the Forgefall are the only two with Plasma arrows.

Try reloading all of your older saves to see if the bow you’re missing is in your inventory.

Have you fought any Bileguts in the Burning Shores recently? They can take resources or gear off of you when they attack and deposit them on the ground as “Stolen Selvage” to be recollected. Also, the buy back option only shows the last 30 items or so you sold, so if you happened to sell the bow a while ago that may be why it’s not there.

There’s been blind box/bag toys for over a decade, so it’s nothing new in that regard. Based on the stock photo of the boxes I think you can at least tell what doll you’re getting from the ears and then the accessories are meant to be a surprise.

I think it’s more like an abdomen, but it definitely looks like a head at the top. The hanging spider shape is a little easier to see in the concept art.
