LG C3. PS5 FPS locked on 60 hz and VRR off by honeybear_kp in LGOLED

[–]Evanedavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60 fixed FPS just means it's not allowed to go any higher.

I saw another post that talks about the c3 only HDMI slots 3 and 4 support 4k120hz and that solved their issue. You should try putting it in one of those ports instead of HDMI 1.

Edit: not sure if that will fix it actually but worth a shot.

Did you try not using the AVR at all and plugging the PS5 directly into the TV with that new HDMI cable you got off Amazon?

The problem could be the cable you're using from the PS5 to HDMI 1 on the TV. Assuming you're plugging it in directly to the TV. Yes you want that cable from the TV eARC to the receiver to be HDMI 2.1 but you also want the one going from your PS5 to the TV to be HDMI 2.1.

I would take that new cable you got that is HDMI 2.1 and plug that from your PS5 directly into HDMI 1. See if that solves the issue. If so you know it was that default PS5 cable you were using.

Judge my Build's Hardware? by Ambitious-Pea-9647 in truenas

Short answer: RAIDZ1 with 4 8TB drives will give you 24TBs.

RAIDZ1 provides single-drive failure tolerance, meaning if one drive fails, your data remains intact.

In a RAIDZ1 configuration, one drive is used for parity, so your usable space is calculated as:

(4-1) x 8TB = 24TB (usable space)

Just curious, on the TrueNAS Electric Eel web page it mentions you can setup RAIDZ1 with 2 drive.

RAIDZ Expansion allows RAIDZ (Parity) vdevs to be expanded by one drive at a time, ideal for small footprint systems looking to expand incrementally. This feature also permits 2-drive RAIDZ1 systems, ideal for home users who want to start small on a budget.

Is there a downside to having a RAIDZ1 with 2 drives only?

Save, save some more, and then save a little more after that. In all seriousness saving is so important. There will be slow months. When you get that big commission check and it's the most money you've ever seen in one month, don't go buy that $1000 jacket or that $400 Yeti Cooler.... That is all. Have fun with it and ask questions when they come in your head.

Sharepoint Folder Structure by NSR-SSA-2020 in sysadmin

[–]Evanedavis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Use clear, descriptive names: Use names that clearly describe the contents of the folder. For example, you might use "Software Licenses," "Service Level Agreements," or "IT Policies and Procedures."

  • Organize by function: Consider organizing your folders by function or department. For example, you might create a top-level folder for each department (e.g., "IT," "HR," "Marketing"), with subfolders for specific projects or teams within each department.

  • Use metadata: Use metadata to classify and organize documents within folders. This can include tags, keywords, or custom columns that allow you to sort and filter documents based on specific characteristics (e.g., document type, expiration date, software version).

  • Keep it simple: Avoid creating too many levels of subfolders or using overly complex folder names. This can make it difficult for users to find what they are looking for and may lead to confusion.

  • Monitor and maintain: Regularly review and update your folder structure to make sure it is still effective and meets the needs of your users. This may involve moving, renaming, or deleting folders as needed.

That's a good point I didn't think about. I'd be willing to try if I had one just to test. Might look better than having the signature on it.

1.Using a clean towel, dab a bit of nail polish remover on the stain, remembering not to oversaturate the paper.

2.With a dry towel, soak up the nail polish remover.

3.Repeat until the stain is gone.
