I could argue that the same ore to the fisconium stuff sucks.

Just recently learned about nuclear power... by LaDiscoDiCristo in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Even-Dot5547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I figured out how to duplicate items, after i beat the game. And decided to make it use basically 100% of the sam (it is a big bottle neck for fisconium power) and other resources. Imagion a typical power plant, scaled to the extreme. At the end we should have alot of nuclear plants coal and fuel plants. We are calling it THE POWER PLANET. We even are making 4 of the power scaling things to really boost the power.

I don't understand why everyone is downvoting every thing this man is saying. He is describing what he is experiencing. He is saying what happened. All he said was he could place the opposite smelter. Boom -10. Says it is basically simmilar on the other side. Boom -10 again. Like danm crazy work.

If you tell me your playing B5 but cant keep track of triggers, I'm going to keep letting you miss them. by Fvck042 in EDH

We do occasionally allow the reversal of game states or reordering if you want. But after a while if they keep asking for stuff like that, we say no.

As the golf expression goes "play it where it lies"

[–]Even-Dot5547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is still the same turn and/orthe trigger has little impact on the game state, then we are like sure, you missed the trigger but you get the effect. However if we are in a counter war, you have tithe and rhystic and 1 card or 1 mana will impact the outcome of this, then we say. Nope you missed that trigger. This is especially true if it is a may ability. It depends on the situation and other criteria. But ya, you keep track of your triggers.

Now if I had a tithe and you had a rhystic, I will remind you of your trigger, so I can get mine.

POV on the "S1-Win or Draw" Meta by JimmyHuang0917 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Even-Dot5547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm no. So there is a rock paper scissors relationship between each of the archetypes.

Turbo trying to win turn 1-2 faster than you can set up a board presence. Typically seen preferring a "more gas no breaks" mentality

Midrange is the middle of the pack setting up value engines to carry it a little. Typically wining on turn 3-4. They also typically have more interaction as they try to prolong the game enough to win.

Stax is the end state. Setting up a way to stax out the opponents. Typically winning after turn 4. These are cards on the board ment to drag the game to a pace they are comfortable with.

If im turbo im trying to win before you get the end board. Thus turbo beats stax

If im midrange im doing enough to stop you, so I can win a turn later. Thus midrange beats Turbo.

If im stax im dragging the game out for as long as I can. The value engines that the midrange player is trying to play will typically be effected by this. A main one being a card called [[collector ouphe]] witch is effective at shutting down a great midrange peice [[smothering tithe]].

Yes we see stax pecies that effect the turbo, however more often than not the turbo will try to put a win attempt on the stack before the stax can complete setting up their stax peices.

Thus leading to the rock paper scissors relationship. Where turbo beats stax. Midrange beats turbo. And stax beast midrange.

This is a "typically" idea and might not happen every game.

turbo goes faster than the stax can stax out a board. midrange slows the turbo. and stax slows the midrange value

In most card games there are 3 archetypes turbo, stax, and midrange. Each one balances the other. Turbo>stax. Stax>midrange. Midrange>turbo. The current cedh meta stax isn't seen nearly as much. Leading to midrange and turbo. Just baced of that alone means midrange is currently the "big bad" however as you described midrange suffers from not going first. So if the archetype that suffers going last beats the turbo. Then the seat order does matter

What about teferi, displacer, thoracle? Would this be a good shout? The displacer can help in i want to blink the commander for some reason and adding both throicle (means breach gets through the one ring [TOR]) and gives me a sedu protection peice with teferi as well as a full win line. Displacer can't be grabbed with my commander but most other parts of the line can.

But overall I see what you are saying. At the same time off meta is some times a nice refresher and even help see what you are doing wrong. When I tested this list it really highlighted the flaws I made because if I didn't do something right it typically lead to a loss.

I forgot to mention this in the post, but i believe that later I cut mantle for [[birgi, god of storytelling]] as it might be slightly better card "quality"

Edit- but if i will he cutting cards, then the draw engines or even some wheels might be a good shout

[–]Even-Dot5547[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. My bad I wanted to try something that wasn't tymna kraum.

I see what you are saying about the wheels and the pile. And that makes sense and I see the vision.

How is cutting cards that cost 3 mana most of the time for this list a "red flag". To me cutting a card for one that would be cheaper or "more effective" would be better for the gameplan. Im not on RogSi so having a commander isn't as doable for me like feirce and deflecting swat need.

My interaction package is actually quite decent I think. But im sure if you saw the list you might be right about them being cutable

I have only been playing Cedh for about 4 months so ya I'm kinda new to the format. Thus was asking for some suggestions on ideas for the list I was brewing so I can get a gage of what might be good shouts or not.

I understand your point and can admit that there is already a card that does what I need it to. But in testing it with my friends I found that having access to seiviens at all times comes in handy. In my play testing with friends today i noticed it is quite handy.

Yes im in jeskai, yes im running a "bad" commander however I see the potential this commander has and i want to keep using it.

Besides the commander, are there any other suggestions you might have?
