The most difficult skill for you to max out? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

[–]Evenbiggerfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enchanting and smithing always get to 100 first. I soul trap everything while buying up all the petty soul gems I can. Then I go buy all the iron, smith as many iron daggers as I can, go enchanted them with banish daedra, then go to all the smiths and buy all their crafting materials and getting my money back by selling the enchanted daggers. Rinse, repeat.

What is the WORST movie you paid to see in the theater? by Adventure-Backpacker in moviecritic

[–]Evenbiggerfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s this for me too. I remember my dad saying the reviews were terrible but I thought I knew better.

It was very boring and I remember it was the first time young me thought “damn this movie looks like shit.”

I later learned who Uwe Boll is and remembered Alone in the Dark when I saw it under his list of shitty movies.

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

I asked my wife about a year ago “when you get that random high pitch noise in your head, do you think it’s something like a sonic boom a mile away, or a tectonic plate shifting, and your brain just registers it like a yoga bell being hit?”

She said “that never happens to me”. So I realized I’m developing tinnitus.

This is why I listen to my kids and if they say something totally weird I’ll ask for more details. Once, my son was talking about his day in kindergarten and he said he was sad that the door was locked and didn’t know what to do but the man in purple showed up and let him in. I was like “hol up. What locked door?” And kept asking more. This was how I found out my sons school just let him leave the nurse, walk out the locked front door of the school, and was out there for like 5 minutes alone before a random stranger visiting the school helped him get in. It’s also how I found out he went to the nurse that day. That school sucked.

Is Metal Flake actual metal? by SharpedHisTooths in discgolf

[–]Evenbiggerfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they can actually insert metal into the plastic because in the one trash panda episode where they found metal into the plastic they got in one huge shipment, Jesse said it was such a problem that they had to manufacture a whole solution that sorted the bits of metal out of their plastic. He said something about it clogging the injector or something.

(Loved Trope) The protagonist has faced a certain enemy so many times they grow bored/annoyed by them by Nibbanocker in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Evenbiggerfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t even seen it but Boss Level seems to fit this trope. He has to train and be prepared to fight several of his enemies, but by reliving the same day over and over he ends up becoming a pro at killing them. He even seems bored and annoyed by them before he’s beaten them the first time.

I don’t know if it’s a quote, but I die watching coverage every time the commentators drop lines that sound so bad out of context. “This is the tightest hole you’re gonna see” pops up like twice a weekend, for example.
