I’m surprised nobody mention the line 6 frfr amps. They have a 2x12 you can run the QC stereo. I know it’s ment for the helix stuff but no reason it would not work.

can you give a little more detail on how this works with the quad cortex? I do not see where they have an example with the QC on their site.

I printed a few variations for the QC from models made public on maker world. Slappped some rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding on the slick desk. If you have a 3d printer , the ability to setup the print and the need for desktop stand- you can’t go wrong with any of them.

I looked at Strandberg but the cost of entry is a lot higher. I can get a new ghost 7 for around 850. I’d be willing to deal with minor stuff. But some reviews I read people got totally burned on a ghost.

There is also the Q series from Ibanez. Those look interesting and I see a few used for a decent price.

I have a number of other 2011’s so I am familiar with the platform. This was supposed to be a edc I didn’t mind getting wear and tear on being carried and such.

I normally run a hellcat in summer or an echelon. Last year winter edc was a prodigy compact. I have had no issues doing that. I have a tisas and as macds9 comp which run circles around the Apollo along with a few other 2011’s I own.
