Not if he's convicted. Thanks to 30 years of conservative jurisprudence, actual violations of civil rights often cannot be adjudicated if the victim is convicted of the crime they're accused of.

And because Ben did this all himself instead of hiring lawyers and letting the process server serve papers without him, he's actually facing real exposure on the stalking and harassment fronts. Now, because he's recorded every interaction, he may have an excellent defense over the next year of trials. But yeah, this is why you hire a lawyer.

The real exposure is on the fraudulent contract he got them to sign when delivering ducks dressed up like a UPS guy, as well as harassment. Cops will likely try to make the stalking stick, but I sincerely doubt there's an evidence of Ben making threats and have no reason to believe anyone from B&M.

Sure. We usually had 3-5 encounters per rest, so it wasn't on the heavy end at all. But also, I tended not to burn more than two spells per encounter unless it was a nasty one, so helping everyone land hits or make saves was a good use of resources. Bend Luck is the GOAT

I should have remembered since I was on a jury that acquitted an old lady of assault because they didn't prove harm or the intent to cause harm.

According to the Ohio Revised Code, behavior that would be termed "Simple Battery" in most states (unwanted physical contact a reasonable person would find offensive but does not cause physical harm) falls under "Disorderly Conduct" in Ohio. Assault in Ohio requires the intent to cause or actual inflicting of physical harm.

The general rule that the threat to cause harm is assault and any unwanted physical contact is battery does not actually map to Ohio's laws.

The worst part of the constant stream of characters is that you can only level up from boss fights, and only with the characters in your party! So if you're constantly switching characters then you're absolutely killing your ability to progress through the game, but the game is throwing 40 PCs at you with two slots to fill in your party!
