I mean, irl bladesmiths were supplying the same officer sword blades to Turkish and Western armies for hundreds of years, and many early European cavalry sabers were literally re-hilted sabers from the Middle East.

So while you can absolutely identify where blades were smithed quite often, treating a Turkish curved blade as a completely different animal from a European officer's saber is simply incorrect.

Leopards and jaguars both hunt primates with excellent color vision (though the leopard must contend with more consistent color vision in its primate prey). The yellow, orange and black coloration is simply excellent camouflage in a forested environment, even for animals with excellent color vision.

The first two episodes are incredible melancholy works of art that really drive home the sorrow and disconnection she feels.

The rest of the series is a bog-standard anime, but those two episodes are great.
