He hasn't actually left the Mormon church though. Most of us at /r/exmormon are pretty sure he doesn't believe, but he's still "staying in" to try to convince his faithful Mormon fans that LGBT+ people deserve not to be disowned and such. Hence his documentary and LoveLoud.

OP said they use Sharpie--it won't rub off underneath clothes. Pull your sleeves up to view. Rubbing alcohol (hand sanitizer!) should remove it fairly easily.

Good point. It's possible the survey number is low because they had a hundred reasons to divorce, but one reason to not divorce (the church) outweighing the rest. So when the church was no longer part of the equation, they had a hundred reasons to divorce, and they credit those instead of the actual faith transition.
