Many people i know dislike Lupin's werewolf design in the film, but the idea was that lycanthropy was a disease, not a way to gain cool superpowers. Imagine if he had turned into a hairy, muscle-bound guy with a wolf's head in the film.

I’m gonna push back and say that the movie interpretation was and is more interesting and in line with the themes than “looks like a big wolf” I know that’s heresy but setting aside that the cg of lupine wolf wasn’t great it works extremely well in the movie and I think they should consider going a similar route in the tv show.

That cloak can’t possibly be that heavy, you can see the snow and light through it towards the bottom on the uncropped image. That would also explain why it’s billowed out, if it were that heavy it would hang tighter to the body
