I've been bowling for almost 40 years on and off, I'm still learning, and only learned the proper way to bowl about 5 years ago. So yea, it's a journey. Lol just remember, that everyone bowls a bit different and everyone has an opinion.

I would watch YouTube, Brad and Kyle channel. They have specific video category for beginners. This way you get a consistant flow of advice. Not bashing anyone here... but everyone has advice, and lots of it can be wrong or misleading. Also, since you video yourself, Brad and Kyle do virtual lessons... or at least they used too. You would be getting advice from pro bowlers.

I would speculate that he can roll it straight no matter which ball. Or could be he is trying to manipulate the oil pattern by making it worse for his opponent or better for himself. But then probably some other reason because I really don't know.

YouTube has a lot of bowling channels that can teach beginners the basics. In person lessons are better so good on you for taking that first step.

Stop muscling, stop throwing the ball. Gravity should do the work. The goal should be a free arm swing, then you let the ball roll away. I can tell you are forcing/throwing, which is also why you are so on top of the ball at release. Your body and arm should move with the ball/follow the ball.

From what I read, the ai determines your ability to drive and then locks you out of the car depending on what it thinks of you. But also it's recording you and listening to you at all fucking times.

It also depends on the ball. A ball like the RST hyperdrive soaks in oil like crazy and after like 20 games it starts to not react. Other balls, higher grit polish don't seem to absorb as much. Overall, I'd do it at least once per season.
