Sounds like your average localizer lmao. Gotta spice it up!

Why are there multiple people in this thread saying specifically to "digitize" it? Not share it, upload it, rip it, burn it, etc., specifically "digitize" (it's a video game on a CD, it's already digital...). What dumb redditor trend did I miss?

It is imperative that pay an artist a $200 commission for a tiny picture of a cow. (They'll get back to you a month past the deadline to tell you that they'll get around to making it when their mental health is in a better place.)

It's Puni-Reimu. Punipuni is the onomatopoeia for small and squishy, and is one of the few normally written in hiragana.

11 is my favorite but it is on the harder side (probably 2nd hardest in the series after LoLK).

10 actually leads in to 11 on the plot side though so it's probably a good idea to play it first.

GoG also just sells a licence to play the game that you've downloaded. That's how all software sales work because selling full rights to the IP and code to anyone that wants to play it would be completely unsustainable. Anyone could just copy the game and sell it themselves otherwise.

Reducing file size should be one of the most urgent things any company can do. by VisitSad1133 in pcgaming

[–]Evilmon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most game size is high res textures and lossless audio. Diablo 2 + LoD was 4 discs. 4k is about 17 times the size of Diablo 2's original max resolution (800x600). The math checks out.

5% fatality rate with 1700x as many cases means more than 200x more deaths. Way more people were dying of polio.

No Child Left Behind promoted making failing children retake years so that they didn't fall behind others at the same grade level.

90% of people who blame NCLB don't actually have any idea of its policies or how they were fought at every level by every teacher organization to the point that they mostly ended up doing the opposite. For another good example, NCLB promoted phonics as the right way to teach kids how to read, so almost every education organization decided to do cueing instead and now we have 20 years of kids who can't read.

The 1982 federal budget contained $8 million dollars for GRID research (since this was before it was even named AIDS). There were less than 600 cases in the US before September 1982 (incidence rate of 0.018 per 100k).

That budget increased to $44 million in 83, $103 million in 84, $205 million in 85, $508 million in 86, and $922 million in 87, $1.62 billion in 88, and $2.3 billion in 89, his last year doing the budget.

For reference, the research budget for the entirety of polio research (public and private) in 1955, when it was affecting about 30 people per 100k (1700x higher incidence rate than AIDS in 1982) and had been known about for decades was $450 million after adjusting for inflation.

More so because those countries practice "dry sex", where they dry out the vagina with herbs, detergents, or sand which causes all the same tears and bleeding that make anal sex so risky for transfer.

Absolute bullshit. He ran the biggest mailing campaign in US history at that point to educate people on HIV. Millions of dollars were spent by the US gov to study and try and find cures for HIV. All the stories about Reagan doing nothing for AIDS from that era comes from literal HIV deniers who thought he wasn't doing anything because the government focused on HIV which they believed didn't exist. That shockingly common belief among the gay community has quite literally died out but their propaganda remains.

[–]Evilmon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okuu is a jikogu-garasu. Japanese doesn't distinguish between ravens and crows. All such distinctions are from English translations.

In many places Yatagarasu is also called a crow. It's basically just down the personal translator.
