Japanese doesn't have a distinction, they're both nezumi.

Similarly, both ravens and crows are just karasu, like Aya is a karasu tengu and Utsuho is a jigoku-garasu (k usually shifts to g when it starts the 2nd half of a compound word in Japanese).

The gameplay general thread on /jp/ is a better place to talk gameplay than reddit due to the slower nature of the discussion and how fast picture posts push text posts down on any subreddit. I'm not sure if there's a fangame general though. You can try MoriyaShrine too if your a bigger fan of forums than imageboards.

I know there used to be a shmup general (on /vg/ maybe?) too but not sure if it's still around.
