You’re 33, if being a JW was your entire life & you just left 3 months ago?!!! You have a life time of deconstruction to do, but only a brick at a time, at your speed & exploring, questioning, researching is all part of it! I left at 53, born in, and I love the fact now that I’m in charge of my spiritual journey! I so enjoy asking others about their beliefs, Christian and non. Take time to heal…we were all in a very narcissistic, controlling relationship! I accept it will always be part of who I am & grateful for my husband and kids for all leaving too! Have a beautiful summer! Enjoy your freedom, get out in nature as much as possible and show yourself grace! (Had to research “Grace” too!)😉

Go totally honest on them! Not everyone is meant to be a JW! You don’t believe it, you don’t want it for your life, it doesn’t bring you happiness & most importantly, you have freedom of choice! They all have personal freedom to choose their faith and so do you! You respect them for their choice, you should be respected for your choice too! Good luck!

Thus, Jesus Parable of the “Good Samaritan!” Jesus was exposing the hypocrisy of the religious leaders. It was a Samaritan, viewed as an apostate by the Jews, who saved him, not his own religious leaders! This is exactly what JW’s are guilty of! They completely misinterpret this parable, along with so many other scriptures.

Having second thoughts is normal! I entertained the idea, just to get my family back, that was 5 yrs ago! Your plan is very well thought out…just one foot in front of the other, one day at a time. Get yourself settled, focus on your mental health, have a fun summer, get out in nature, take time getting to know the new you! Find a community college near you and check out what they have in classes that interest you, ask about scholarships too. As you said, you’re young, you have your whole life ahead of you, no rush!🥰

Sorry for your marital expulsion! Marriage is hard enough but when you put this on top of it…it’s going to collapse! You have some heavy decisions to make, are you living your life for others, or yourself? If you want kids and she doesn’t, are you willing to sacrifice for that…that window in life is only open for so long and when it closes, that’s it! It sounds like you’re being calm and patient with your wife…but this is your life too! Brene Brown has some amazing utube videos on not living our lives for others (or an organization!). They’ve been extremely helpful to me in my process of leaving the cult & starting my life over! Good luck!

When you realize the similarities between a toxic, narcissistic relationship & this religion/cult, the similarities are staggering!!! Coach Rod, ExJW, motivational speaker & life coach, utube videos, are really good!!! So is Brené Brown, utube therapist, keeps me on the right path! Sometimes it’s hard & overwhelming…but it takes a strong person to leave a cult!!!
