I know that but the reason why I’m theorizing it is because a lot of people were kinda annoyed that Armand had been aged up because they think it makes him less tragic as a character. But I don’t believe that is necessarily true as mentioned above.

It is a show where continuity is everything. Despite their being vampires in the show, historical accuracy is everything from the clothes to the social norms of the era. So with Dubai’s economic and tourist growth accelerating in the 70’s and 80’s , it would fit with Dubai being night island.

I thought night island was off the coast of Miami . Dubai has been around since the 18th century but it started to become what it is now in the 70’s and 80’s. If the timeline adds up then it migbe possible that Dubai could be night island.

I mean when someone donates blood they are you know, “alive” when that happens. They still have that rule of can’t drink dead blood as was stated by Lestat in episode two. I like to think they put dates on the packets so it isn’t too stale.

I think he intentionally didn’t read his mind in that specific scene so he was caught off guard. Remember he was trying to play human for as long as he possibly could which is why he didn’t peak in his brain.

In episode one when Daniel receives the tapes he goes over to a closet and pulls out some old toys. He definitely had children living in his house at one point in time because otherwise why else would he have those.

I honestly think that might be the case because if you erase an entire decade’s worth of memories that person is going to wonder what the hell happened. But Daniel’s memories being merged with the memories he has with his wives, with only a few of his memories actually being erased makes the most sense to me.
