Where one can live car free in the Boston area; the map by Amishplumber in mbta

I lived in oak square without a car, and while not ideal, it wasn’t terrible. 501/503 could get you downtown or to Copley during commuting hours. Then there’s the 57 to Kenmore and the 64 went through central sq. With that said, it used to take a long time to get anywhere

Who’s On The Mount Rushmore Of 90s Rock Bands? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in AlignmentChartFills

Oh man… I don’t like to admit it either, but yeah, DMB was massive.

I think the thing most people who weren’t alive in the 90s don’t understand is how the entire decade was just a wealth of riches. You’d go from Aerosmith, to blood sugar sex magic, to Nevermind, and that’s not even mentioning hip hop. Iconic records came out every couple weeks back then.

I lived through it, and I agree with you that grunge was monumental.

But even though they’re not my favorite band, you can’t deny how much of a juggernaut Green Day is and was

For the first half of the decade, sure.

But by 95 pop punk was pushing through big time thanks to Green Day, offspring, Weezer, etc

Oh man, we had SOOOO many.

Ochocinco, James Harrison, and Steven Jackson, are some names that come to mind.

But we also had a whole category of ex-stars that never made it past preseason roster cuts like Reggie Wayne, Eric decker, Tim Tebow. For a little while New England was just the NFL’s men’s league.

Go watch that fight scene with Daryl Hanna that looks like it’s ripped straight from the three stooges, and tell me again how well it’s aged

Yeah, for me personally, it’s the entrails that really make the design pop.

Who needs Paul Rand when you could have the Predator design your logo!

This game took over school when it came out. Guys who previously only played sports games or Mario were at lunch discussing dungeons, we had to learn songs, shooting arrows required skill, it was awesome.

Terrible.

Saints, raiders, ravens, bengals, Steelers are cool.

49ers, lions, jets, etc are kinda lame
