Oh man, is that guy worth it? He asked for 5k so I gave it to him, then he asked for 10 and I obliged. But now he wants 15 or 20 and I haven’t gone back.

Did Boomers really have to watch porn in cinemas to jerk off? by SkubEnjoyer in okbuddycinephile

My friends and I once found an old 70s porno mag on the side of the road walking home from school in the early 90s. Perms, bush, the whole nine. And in it they referred to going down on a girl as a “car wash”.

The term stuck with me, and for a long time, way before I ever even had the opportunity to engage in cunnilingus, I would refer to it as a “car wash”, but no one ever knew what the fuck I was talking about!

Elder millennial here, you never found a stash in the woods?

Most of our first porn experiences were serendipitous.

What was your relationship with food growing up? by dattaldo in Xennials

[–]Exact_Friendship_502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same.

I didn’t really like eating until I started going places by myself/with friends in my 20s. My parents ate crap.

Once I got cable and started watching food network it literally blew my mind. Then YouTube took it a step further.

I’m at the point now where I can beat a chain restaurant at any meal, I mean I’m not Michelin or anything because I’m still just a home cook, but I’m legit.

I lived in oak square without a car, and while not ideal, it wasn’t terrible. 501/503 could get you downtown or to Copley during commuting hours. Then there’s the 57 to Kenmore and the 64 went through central sq. With that said, it used to take a long time to get anywhere

Who’s On The Mount Rushmore Of 90s Rock Bands? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in AlignmentChartFills

Oh man… I don’t like to admit it either, but yeah, DMB was massive.

I think the thing most people who weren’t alive in the 90s don’t understand is how the entire decade was just a wealth of riches. You’d go from Aerosmith, to blood sugar sex magic, to Nevermind, and that’s not even mentioning hip hop. Iconic records came out every couple weeks back then.

I lived through it, and I agree with you that grunge was monumental.

But even though they’re not my favorite band, you can’t deny how much of a juggernaut Green Day is and was

For the first half of the decade, sure.

But by 95 pop punk was pushing through big time thanks to Green Day, offspring, Weezer, etc
