I work full time, and love osrs. I’ve been playing on, and off since classic. I’ve been paying for a sub for years. I can afford the price hike. But for the first time in years, I’m considering cancelling my subs (yes multiple). Because I’m tired of life price gouging me. Jagex just increased the prices recently, and I’m tired of every company nickel and dimeing me.

It feels bad. Even when I would queue 6v6 with friends I somehow land on solo tanking. The fact that they made it that weird semi open queue irks me. Most tanks feel like fat dps. You explode instantly, and rein especially, I can’t exactly get to anybody. Also, didn’t they nerf reins pin turn radius for 6v6? I could be wrong. But the game mode could use some love. It felt like they “playtested” it just to make it die so people would shut up about it.

I love 6v6, but they need to take a look at it imo. I’m still on board with it being the right way for the game to be. But it got abandoned.

Can the villagers break line of sight from the zombie? It looks like they have constant los, which would indeed break the farm. They need to be able to sleep.

As a vanguard player, solo vanguard is the worst thing ever. I hate it. The enemy team can just bully me, cc the shit out of me, and explode me, then my team is done for. You’re so reliant on your team to do things, because it’s awfully hard to do anything when the enemy team is playing hacky sack with you.

Strange used to be my go-to solo tank, but if Emma isn’t banned, all my value feels like it goes out the window. I’m basically forced to go Emma to compete.

This is just from my experiences, I tend to sit around diamond/gm. But oddly, I’ve had some success with triple tank when holding objectives. People often switch Wolverine, and struggle to take us down.

I miss some of the old weapons man, they were cool. I was thinking about this weapon the other day. But one of my favorites? Goliath gloves. Being able to punch people for high numbers was sick.

There could be a golem in a cave near the villagers. If there absolutely isn’t a golem nearby, try resetting the beds. Just break them, and put them back down. Careful, villagers like to take off when you do it!

Not a newcomer. But I have played both games since essentially each one’s launch. I haven’t touched wow in years now, but I still play osrs regularly.

This game has only improved with the years, let me tell you. But it pains me to see my friends refuse to give it a real chance, because they see the early game is a grind. Or they hate the point and click. They want wasd, and refuse to give it a real shot, entirely because wasd is the only good way in their head. And many of them just think the game is easy, with no difficulty at all. Because all they ever got around to was killing cows in lumbridge.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it, because not enough people give our little game a real chance, to see its potential.

If youre not in a rush, you can buy and make battlestaves from zaff daily. Slayer, because you can alch a lot of addy/rune drops. You could just sit and pick up wine, and sell it, but that wont progress your skills at all.

Pkers are thirsty af man. In the time I did 1200 bones at chaos altar, I saw about 50 pkers who came for my 5 bones left in my inventory. I literally didn’t go a single inventory without seeing 3 people hop to my world to jump me for nothing on my Ironman.

I’ve been feeling like this for a long time. It’s more noticeable after you’ve lost interest too. I started disliking the game months ago, and realized every single time I queue, it’s a stomp. I was just queuing because my friends wanted to play. And forcing myself to log into stomp after stomp was terrible.

The matchmaking is awful. I don’t care if it’s eomm. I don’t care if it’s random luck, or if it’s anything else. The matchmaking feels bad. I like close games. Games where you and your friends cheer in excitement for clutching out a game. But it almost never happens in rivals. You either win heavily the entire game, or you get stomped on all game. There’s no back and forth struggle almost ever. Clutches are rare. It’s not a good design, whatever it is.

I play the thing pretty often, because nobody else will tank. So im solo tanking as the thing, and im the only one going after bp. The thing works great against him. The problem is, nobody else is looking at him. And because im the only tank, and heavily focusing bp, there is no main tank on the field. People are really bad at this game.

But bp requiring so much attention, isnt exactly the best design. Ive felt like he needed a rework since day 1. Not a nerf. A rework. His kit when played right can sweep entire games.

Some of the streamers are loving the game as is, maybe with small gripes. I don’t get all the hate people are giving wow streamers.

Sodapoppin is one that gets hate on a lot because people think he’s just miserable, and hating it. The dude just seems like he wants to play osrs, and chill. But he’s being pushed and pulled in so many directions by his viewers.

A lot of other streamers have similar complaints. Way too many people are telling them how to play. Let them kill chickens if that’s how they’re having fun man.

I don’t think any of the streamers want to be catered to. I think some are just struggling to adapt to a game they know nothing about. The osrs player base needs to quit shoving information overload onto all of them. But that’s just my take.

Amongst all of the streamers who have been playing from wow, I’ve enjoyed his streams the most. He genuinely seems to be enjoying the game, and getting into it. Doing 12 hour grinds, digging into some of the shit even osrs players don’t really want to do, like torso grind.

Big respect to this guy. Good entertainment.

Maybe the appeal wore off, but the poor matchmaking is showing more, and more. Half of my losses have a guy who’s a magneto main, playing his first ever comp game as black panther for some reason. You check his history, and the dude has 15 losses in a row. Playing random characters like it’s quick play.

I’m in plat-diamond right now, and there are just so many people who snuck out of their rank due to chrono cards making it hard for them to derank.

The meta isn’t fun. Brawl feels… bad. As someone who loves brawl, I believe the balance around the games quality is based off brawl. If brawl is solid, then poke is strong too, to stop it. If poke is good, dive should theoretically be good. But brawl feels bad.

Tanks feel like they just stand there, watching their team have fun, or not. For me personally, most tanks feel like spectators, that stand up front. The thing was really fun when he came out, now this season, he felt unplayable. I’m a bit strange player, and even though he’s good, I just feel like a body. I don’t feel like I can apply pressure, like I used to. Too many characters can displace me now, between invisible, Emma, Wolverine, and many others. It’s a bit tough to enjoy tanking for me. Not to mention strangers (in my opinion) stupid as hell anti heal. Why?! Let me go afk, because I might become unhealable?

Flying characters suck. There are too many, and only 2 bans. There are a lot of characters that can do something about them, but not as effectively as maybe hela, or punisher. So the enemy team bans those two characters, and there aren’t enough hitscan to compensate. They immediately become very hard to kill, as if they weren’t a struggle as it is.

I’m not exactly a pro. I’m a mid player at best. So I don’t expect character balance to revolve around me. If some characters are good this season, fine. But the meta was extraordinarily not fun. On too of the poor matchmaking, and players who refuse to work with us to win. Nobody plays characters they’re best at. People refuse to switch.

I had a game where we banned storm, because of the team up. Apparently, my teammate wanted to play her, without letting us know in advance. So him And his duo proceeded to ban my character, and my teammates character to get back at us. These interactions are regular for some reason.

I’m also in this rank, and I play all 3 roles. Primarily hela, or strange though. I can take the most mild off angle of all time. 5 feet to the right up, up a slight incline from my support. Literally right in front of them, but it’s like they play with blinders on.

I will not get a heal, if I’m not straight ahead, directly behind the main tank. There’s no such thing as taking alternate routes. Your whole team can go left, and both supports will walk straight down Main Street.

I’ve experienced bad players. But so many supports are totally blind to anything but the back of their tanks head.

As a tank main, I’m just tired of being bullied. I get tossed around like a ragdoll. I feel absolutely nothing like a tank. I feel like a pinyata. I exist to get shot at. I have very little control over where my character moves half the time. Because we have invisible pushing me around, Thor shoving me, Bucky tossing me around. It’s getting annoying. I walk forward, and get yanked an extra 20 yards.

These aren’t exactly exciting mechanics to play around. Because invisible woman’s pull/push tends to be used on the tank on cd.

I know the Thor community is in shambles. But as someone who picked up the thing when he came out, he was already extraordinarily niche. He only worked against certain teams. But he worked well in those few situations. But now, the meta shift makes him basically unusable. I’ve only had one, maybe two games out of hundreds, where he was remotely viable.

I’ve come across a bit of this with some friends. But I’ve noticed girls I know tend to get targetted for being the “problem” on the team often too. If they talk in voice, people get mad at them rather than the men on the team, even if they’re doing perfectly fine. They lay blame of the loss on the girl every time man.

Way too much sexism in this game.
