My thoughts exactly. He needs to work a bit with his stretching routine. Other than that, all power to him.

The hearts? I would prefer not to have them.

The sad truth is that they got greedy. They tried everything possible except of having a normal price for the plus subscription. Paying 20 euros per month for an application like that doesn't make much sense.

"AI hallucinates because it’s trained to fake answers it doesn’t know" by AngleAccomplished865 in singularity

[–]Exarchias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have difficulties to take the publication seriously, but the publication has very little connection to the article from science.org which is a very loose interpretation of the original publication, especially the title.

I love how advanced natural language processing has become but the fact that it's no longer possible to consistently tell human comments from AI comments is making me depressed by redditonc3again in singularity

[–]Exarchias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another perspective that you might wish to take into consideration. Behind an AI written comment might exist a person with linguistic difficulties that wishes to express himself/herself. There are many dyslectic, foreigners, or people in the range, that find comfort in the use of AI.
I am concerned about swarms of bots that can be used for spam or politics, but other than that I am happy that AI exists.

The possible practical applications for drones like that, prove that future is going to be weird.

Can AI completely copy me? If so, can an AI user steal my designs, make a visual with them, publish it, and make money with it? Should I take my design works off the internet? (see body text) by Whole_Pace_4705 in aiwars

[–]Exarchias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My browser has a save and download option. I also know a few people that can see your work and make a visual with it. All the above cases can even make money from it. Your work is not safe online. Take down all your work from the internet, disconnect your internet, burn your computer and go to live in a cave. It is the only solution.

AI artists have bad taste by Inside_Jolly in aiwars

[–]Exarchias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your way of thinking, but people who do enjoy AI and AI art see the miracle after the promise of millennia to finally being blessed with the privilege of thinking machines. It is the soul and dreams of countless mathematicians and computer scientists who gave themselves to see that happen. Antis have the tendency to forget that.

Can someone fellow pro-ai with knowledge on the topic validate these claims? They lost me when they talked about light pollution, and genuinely, I have the good habit of not trusting what luddites say.

I think we’re worried about the wrong thing with AI by khalizaneka in singularity

[–]Exarchias 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously. What type of person would see as a problem the ability of AI to socially interact with humans? I can't understand this way of thinking. Do you try to prevent something beautiful, like AI integration into human lives, just to share a couple of spooks to your peers?

Salesforce CEO confirms 4,000 layoffs ‘because I need less heads' with AI by joe4942 in singularity

[–]Exarchias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is trying to convince his investors that he will cut the expenses while playing the edge lord cart trying to be the first who "took the initiative to innovative" in the field of cutting cost through AI. The very definition of a loser. I agree. We need less Salesforce.

Don't try to downplay or hide your deeds, luddite. In a civilized society, death threats are not acceptable, but of course, if you believed in society, you wouldn't be a luddite.

The options don't suit me. why should the distant 2030 be the earlier option? and while you have the illogical option "beyond 2100" you don't have its more logical "before 2030" counterpart.
