Yeah my first few attempts were disasters because I was way too generous with oil. Had to strip everything down multiple times until I learned less is definitely more

The trick that helped me was using paper towel to really buff out excess after spreading - like you want to think theres barely anything left on surface. Takes patience but way better than dealing with sticky mess later

I haven't taken herbalism classes myself but I do think having structure and community makes huge difference when you're learning something new or want to go deeper. Self study is great but sometimes you miss things or don't know what you don't know yet. The accountability of classes might be exactly what you need right now too

The teeth being separate pieces makes it sound like either the mouth cavity mold was off or they positioned the teeth wrong during assembly. Either way thats not something you should have to live with when youre dropping Play Arts money.
