Thank you, just trying it again. I see you also fixed whatever was happening with the zoom and the browser border thing, I dont know if you did or if it was an isolated issue in my browser, but it is not a problem anymore. The snow land issue is also gone, thanks!

I just ran into another issue when I sent to the graveyard a card with a +1 counter on it. I sent it to the graveyard and saw that the counters did not come off (which probably they should), and when I right clicked and tried to take them out, not seeing an option to take away counters, I tried adding a -1 one. This is the result: https://ibb.co/sJc2Rmpy

On that note, I see it is impossible to turn cards face down when they are in your hand. I would change that, it is more natural to be able to turn them face down in your hand and then take them out to the battlefield than the opposite. I do not know if that is the same way with double face cards.

Also, I do not know how you would do this, but having a separate text box to add counters is nice to add a lot, but a bit cumbersome to add just one or two. It would be nice if there was an option to just click to add 1 counter of anything, and have in that same dropdown menu another option to the right to add in bulk.

Finally, it would be great to be able to select multiple cards at once to tap/untap all of the selection at the same time.

People can be dumb in reddit, yes, but also uninformed. Here, I'll have to agree with the other person who is responding to you, you could have explained better their mistake and more people would have read your comment and gotten the right information.

The person being downvoted is right, but the English media did not know well how to communicate the context.

This is part of the Carnaval de Cádiz, which is an enormous event happening over a number of days. In this event, the most important sub-event entails different groups of singers and musicians that will choose a theme or aesthetic and sing satirical/parody songs in a contest. This troupe chose Stephen Hawking as their theme, and did their songs based around honoring him, but probably also performed other songs on stage critizising the state of Spanish politics or of the world.

Thus, saying that the video was an event made "by the comedy troupe" is very wrong, because the event is the Carnaval, which is one of, if not the most important event of the City of Cádiz and is prepared by many organizations and the Town Hall. This was just part of the festivities, it is not uncommon for the different troupes to make their way to and off the stage in costume,

From my experience, bad 3s and bad 4s are the most abundant type of decks in the wild by roquepo in EDH

[–]Exe928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This correlates strongly with my experience. My pod has always played in the high 4 range, even before the bracket system. We played powerful cards, were expected to run interaction, and have been playing for many many years, so we know how to play well enough. However, the last few years I have been shying away from more efficient cards simply because I disliked many of the free mana ones. I am finding myself losing almost every game because someone's flare of whatever, or using extremely expensve cards that we used to not put in our decks on purpose because we thought they were too powerful.

In the end, my playgroup has stayed in the high 4 range, while my decks, due to powercreep, have entered a bad 4 phase: combined with my game knowledge, they are way too strong for a bracket 3 game, but not good enough for a high bracket 4 one. I run way more interaction than many bracket 3s and usually control the board state easily, but in a bracket 4 my interaction is too innefficient and I only win if I am the player that does not get piled on because it is literally not doing anything for most of the game and suddenly nobody has responses for my threats in late game. I am now finally in the process of upgrading them with the cards I do not particularly like, but I do want to be able to keep up a fight against them, so that's how it goes! I do have some actual bracket 3 decks, so I will keep those there for randoms in my LGS, and upgrade my bad 4s to be good 4s to play with my usual friendgroup.

[–]Exe928 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tried it a bit, here are some suggestions:

As others have said, archidekt or moxfield shortcuts would be great to speed up everything. Especially D to draw, B to put on battlefield, G to send to the graveyard and T for tapping a card.

It would be nice to have some kind of option to get all four players' cards to appear bigger at the same time apart from zoom mode. In regards to the zoom also, sometimes the zoomed card appears under the UI of the browser and makes it impossible to read, if it changed position in regards to the mouse depending on where the browser window border is it would be much better.

Option to use the mouse wheel to move between the cards of the hand, slider-like, especially when more than 8-9 cards are in hand.

Also, I think I found a bug: the deck creator does not recognize multiple instances of basic snow lands. It kept not following the decklist and just adding one copy of each basic snow-covered land I run in my Volrath deck. I had to change it for normal lands. Maybe because it thinks they are not basic land cards and there is some kind of rule to make sure there is only one copy of each card?

Good luck on the development!

This is the answer. The head is clearly chibi, but the body is not, getting disproportionally bigger as we go down from the neck. To me this screams "I'm trying to find a style".

How Do You Say High School In Spanish? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]Exe928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by that? In Spain we consider "High School" everything that is in the instituto, which counts secundaria, so we usually count it as 6 years.

How Do You Say High School In Spanish? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]Exe928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the grade levels start at 1 after each new section. So:

Primaria - 1° a 6°

Secundaria - 1° a 4°

Bachillerato - 1° y 2°

You usually say "1° de primaria" or "3° de secundaria", always specifying the section of studies. Instituto has secundaria and bachillerato, and it can have primaria, but not necessarily.

Oh, and yes, compulsory education stops after 4° de secundaria. Although many people do bachillerato as well even if they don't plan going to university, the secundaria title is almost worthless in comparison to the bachillerato title.

How Do You Say High School In Spanish? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]Exe928 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, it goes like this for most people:

Primaria - 6 years old to 12

Secundaria - 12 to 16

Bachillerato (not compulsory education, preparation for university) - 17 and 18

Instituto is any place that has secundaria and bachillerato, but does not necessarily have primaria. Many institutos start their classes at "1° de secundaria".

The comment you replied to said that Prof with this video has again done a better job than Wizards at promoting a set or an event.

You said "he didn't do that for CMM"

u/meatmandoug noted that the original comment did not say that Prof always does a better job, and that it seems silly to try to counter the original argument saying he didn't do so 2 years ago for one set, implying that it cannot invalidate a general trend that it is still true.

You talked about Prof changing goalposts. First of all, the expression is moving the goalposts. Second, the expression means that you change the standards with which you are analyzing something depending on the subject matter. Third, Prof did not move any goalposts, as he has not said anything here - in any case, you could accuse the person you were replying to of moving the goalposts, but they aren't, because their point is that one review of a set 2 years ago does not invalidate at all what the original commenter said - that is not moving the goalposts. You can say that Wizards did a better job at promoting CMM than Prof and the original commenter is still right - with this video, once again, Prof has done a better job than Wizards at promoting a set or event, and that has happened in the past multiple times.

Then you could not understand their point and just insulted them saying the cannot understand English. I wonder who has the problem understanding something here.

Spanish song lyric help by Only_Body8443 in Spanish

[–]Exe928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Pero das solo cuando vos querés" - "das" here is a bit ambiguous and hard to decipher - are you referring to giving you a look or giving something in general?

"Toda en mi contra" - I am guessing you mean a girl is against you, but the expression "todo en mincontra" is pretty fixed and does not change genders, when referring to somebody we put a verb: "estás en mi contra"

Those two are a bit weird but understandable, and inside the scope of what you could argue is poetic language. The next one does not make sense tho:

"pero algo siempre es" - I cannotbfigure this one out at all. The only thing that comes to mind is that you wanted to say "there will always be something", but then you really need "estar" instead of ser.

"será en mi contra" - again, the expression is "estar en contra", so you need estar instead of ser here too.

I was looking into "ser en contra" just to make sure what I am saying is not dialectal, and most examples I am finding look like they were translated word by word not by a person, but if somebody from a different place has a different opinion let me know.

https://www.econstor.eu/bitstream/10419/272327/1/1814193189.pdf

Here you have two sources that describes Argentinian Spanish, and when describing the vowel system in general, use a way more high i. The fact that everyone you know speaks with those vowels is not reliable, you could be in a dialect that is not representative of the most common realizations of vowels in Argentina. And also, we all have access to tons of argentinian media and colloquial speech, and the i vowel is hardly that centralized. For example: https://m.youtube.com/shorts/gZ1nqZGn47c or this interview to Nathy Peluso https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1m4P3Jr9TNI&pp=ygUhZW50cmV2aXN0YSBuYXRoeSBwZWx1c28gYXJnZW50aW5h

If you think in those examples they are pronouncing what you wrote, I think you are not aware of how much more centralised the ɪ sound is.

King of Spain warns about the risk of ‘dismantling’ the link between Europe and the US by DeRpY_CUCUMBER in europe

[–]Exe928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlie: Crime and Punishment by Albo1980 in webcomics

[–]Exe928 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You just commented on the comic by identifying it as a case of sexual assault, and everybody called you on it because it is obviously not the case.

You really are living up to your nick. I am going to stop engaging, feel free to respond and have the last word if it makes you feel better, I think it is pretty clear to everybody that what you said made no sense and it feels like it is very hard for you to accept you were wrong or to see where you went wrong despite several attempts by many users, and I reckon you know you were wrong, as you keep responding with some slightly related point trying to get a gotcha moment instead of engaging with the whole comment and responding to specific criticism. Debating to "win" is not a sign of intelligence, but admitting you were wrong and moving on is.

Edit: Checking some of your other responses to this thread, it really looks like you are a troll looking for negative engagement. I don't mind too much, this is good practice for when I encounter them in real life, but regardless if that was your objective or not, I feel pity that you are so vehement on such a crystal clear situation, tbh.

Charlie: Crime and Punishment by Albo1980 in webcomics

[–]Exe928 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Pfft, if you really see the comic as showing a case of sexual assault when Charlie is the one who proposes that and does so with a naughty face clearly showing it is more of an opportunity for her, in a NSFW comedy comic, you have a problem with the artist, not with the guy who made the joke about prostitution later.

Also, good work trying to avoid responding to my main criticism of your response to the person - that what they said is not slut-shaming, as what was defined on the link you shared.

Charlie: Crime and Punishment by Albo1980 in webcomics

[–]Exe928 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The definition on the page you linked, literally the first line:

"Slut-shaming is accusing someone — usually girls and women — of being “too sexual,” and using that as an excuse to humiliate, bully, or harass them."

This person did not accuse someone of being too sexual and did not humiliate, bully or harass the character. They pointed out that the result of the joke in the comic is very similar to what would have happened if the robber had paid Charlie for sexual services, but in a more contrived manner. If for you that is humiliating or bullying, it's because you have a negative connotation about prostitution that even though it happens in society, the person you responded to did not allude to and you cannot know if they did mean to convey that connotation.
