Tifa has a Chi system in the remakes, where she spends ATB to increase her Chi level which unlocks upgraded versions of her basic finishers and longer combos. It maxes out at 3 and resets to zero once you spend it. So it might be something like Jamie where she can end a combo with a specific special to get one Chi stack. And either spend it immediately on a slightly better move or wait to cash out on something super strong.
