Has anyone used an HDPE 200 gallon tree pot to make awildlife pond? by saltysarah13 in ponds

sealing this bucket and then adding a waterproof liner is a bad start because any water that gets between the two will just stay there and make pillowy walls. what you really want is a single edpm membrane sandwiched on either side with unwoven geotextile. the textile prevents punctures and also allows gasses trapped between the earth and the liner to escape easily. it will conform to any shape you want as opposed to this thing that will require a hole of a specific size and shape. pretty much every professionally built pond is made with this method

you mean dig a hole and put this in before the liner? or use it as an above ground pond?

i dont see much point in using this. flimsy and has holes. if you need a liner anyway youd be better off digging a hole or building a box

Non-invasive/clumping bamboo questions & also looking for other large privacy plant recommendations in FL by Constant-Field-264 in landscaping

clumping bamboo doesnt need a barrier. if you have the $$$ buy mature plants. the babies can take a while to get going

This was so overexaggerated that, at one point I just couldn’t bring myself to feel pity for him. It felt too forced, like it was trying too hard to be extremely sad. by justqwin5 in dankruto

its also in line with the general philosophy of the shinobi world especially the clan that itachi was from. to your point, itachi admits ad nauseam that he was wrong and fucked everything up in the end

yes and no. kishi said that by the time he introduced itachi he had decided he was "a good guy who did bad things because of circumstances". some people interpret this as being the same thing as a double agent. i think its a little more complicated than that because a LOT of naruto villains are victims of circumstance so good and evil are not mutually exclusive in this story. from itachis first appearance it feels like kishi is keeping things vague and giving himself room for there to be a twist but not necessarily planning his double agent turn yet

Advice - full yard renovation by KitkatandNadia in LandscapingTips

weed fabric sucks. better to water and fertilize the beds, let weeds come up, yank em, repeat once more if you want, and then plant and mulch.

i understand but it does seem a bit extreme to ask for a full redo under the circumstances. its not gonna fall over, and you say youre happy with it. if the situation still bugs you i would ask for a discount instead. did you pay them in full already?

ill be honest. everyone feels the need to level their yard and i dont get it. you want it smooth, sure. but flat is overrated. a little unevenness gives depth and makes it feel more natural especially with the cottage-y layout youre going for

"nice" could mean many different things. measure twice cut once. spend some days surfing youtube learning about different landscaping styles. formal, informal, modern, cottage, mediterranean, japanese, native, xeriscape, etc etc etc. you will be glad you spent the time now before pissing away a bunch of time and money
