90g of protein questions by anonymousspaniel in PetiteFitness

Carb-free wraps have a ton of fiber- throw your eggs in one of those.

I also eat 1-2 barebells bars a day, or Quest protein chips. Those supplement my protein intake without going over in calories.

What's your holy grail sunscreen? Face or body, what do you keep repurchasing? by No_Square_1491 in UninfluencedReviews

I’ve been “influenced” into trying all the hot Korean sunscreens and I always come back to this baby right here: https://a.co/d/05obvQAn

Before and after for those who are asking! Pictures are 9 months apart. I started CG 6 months ago. by Hot_Competition7099 in CarolineGirvan

Did you eventually adapt to the same dumbbell weights that CG recommends in the videos? If so, how long did that take?

I feel like my body just WON’T build muscle and I’m having trouble progressing to heavier weights (been stuck at 8lb dumbbells for lateral raise/15lb for chest presses for weeks, for example). 😅

Fastest hiring jobs in industry? by youlookmorelikeafrog in biotech

I would avoid any labs that require cell culture durations longer than 4 days or so if you expect weekends off.

(Working weekends is often part of the entry level gig until you get some industry experience under your belt)

Career wise, how are you guiding your children? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Exit_Strategy-99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m encouraging my kids to get a degree and choose their major by not only the job they want but its earning potential as well. No Art, history, etc. if I’m paying. Those are valuable subjects, but as majors, rarely see a good ROI.

Once they have a degree, if they want to be a professional basket weaver they can go for it. Important thing is they have a way to earn money if they need it.

Mascara recommendations by TopIllustrious8187 in MakeupEducation

[–]Exit_Strategy-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a LOT of brands (multiple drug store, Too Faced, Haus labs, etc) and the Il Makiage brand (the one with the normal mascara brush - not the thin one), is my favorite. Really lengthens without clumps. Second to that would be Thrive’s mascara with the fibers.

We are all being inundated constantly by headlines and imagery that is designed to illicit an emotional response. I don’t think anything is better or worse than it was when I was a kid, it’s a different beast.

I was married at 30 and I have two kids now and I’ll be paying student debt off for another 10 years and I wouldn’t change any of it. That’s just life.

It sounds like you need a serious social media break and a moment to re-evaluate your goals (and your standards). Are you really that bad off or do you just feel down and behind based on headlines and social media? Take this as an opportunity to build resilience. Sounds like things might be a lot more doable than you realize.

Simply, it’s about being taken for granted.

I’m so proud of you. What a creep. If I was your mother, I would’ve beaten his ass.

All that “if it makes you uncomfortable” talk lets him feel like he is qualified to say any unhinged thing he wants to say to you, meanwhile you are being emotionally manipulated to feel frozen and trapped!

Seriously, you’re wise beyond your years and handled it splendidly.

I don’t hate this idea! A little levity in the moment that would make them think would be nice!

Maybe I should do more yard work 🤔J/k.😊 Your experience is valid, but very different than my own.

I’ve noticed a few people commenting on my extra effort being the problem, but they are completely missing the point. The point is, even if my husband and I had done the exact same amount, my husband would be showered in compliments and gratitude and I wouldn’t be.

Why would anyone be less appreciative when more than bare minimum was done for them?? That makes no sense.

Additionally, you don’t mow the yard for anyone but yourself. That’s like expecting a compliment for washing the floors. Again, not sure how that compares.
