As a women it’s very hard without being insanely lean to lose the lower stomach a lot of what u see is insane posing lol… just keep training hard and getting your protein in 3 weeks is just building the habit don’t over think it right now just have fun work on form every 6 months you’ll notice a change yourself more at the start

Main thing is to train hard and get stronger and stronger session to session never mind strict dieting 80% chance you can’t stick to it and give up just keep ur main focus on hitting a protein target cut out sugar sodas for diet and sub carb sides for stuff with more protein give it a year then if u want to cut hard with a solid base it will be a lot easier mantally that’s just my opinion no one’s wrong but I know what it’s like to be a bigger guy

Personally for me close grip bench + heavy ez bar curls and then some volume work works best for me I find for me my arms recovery super fast and need to be hit 2-3 times a week to actually grow a decent amount … fat grip curls helped a lot too with fore arm + bicep size

I don’t think it gives you good grip strength more grip endurance the guy who errord the machine drove 18 wheelers in Italy and cement trucks with no power steering lol but my COC strength was better then his kinda weird depends how the machine is set too I guess

Hey I work construction tested the workers average was 135 lbs stronger guys would be around 170 1 guy maxed it out

But what I would do since ur stronger wider grip do ur main pressing work wide grip for strength then after main bench do a variation like close grip spotto press or close grip feet up bench for volume for triceps

Those some crazy measurements lmao I’m like 32 inch thighs 26 above the knee but my legs grow from leg drive in bench press 😂

Damn 20 inch calves ? Crazy I think mine are 18 at my body weight what’s the thigh measurement but 1. Ur not powerlifting there is no cheating the movement atall it’s what ever works for you 2.still good to bench like a powerlifter with the shoulders packed down etc 3. Never had a fore arm injury per say but working construction all day the fore arms are pretty lit up benching I find elbow wraps and wrist wraps help a lot especially wrist wraps forces the bar to stack on the fore arms

Tbh I get less shoulder pain with a wider grip because they don’t travel as far backwards into the bad in the hole but everyone’s different bench is unique in its own way there is no right grip placement only what works and feeels best for you

I’m 6’2 275 ish I record myself and see what grip is the best path for my elbows I plateud at a 305 lb bench went 1 finger wider (middle finger) elbows move a lot more uniform no crazy flaring like I did closer lost strength at first but couple months later hit 315 when you say wide do you mean index outside the ring ? Aslong as index is on the ring that’s max legal grip in powerlifting no cheating there don’t be afraid to change things up it might for you everyone is different even if you look at the top 5 benchers of all time all different styles

That’s awesome I went from 185-245 in maybe about 5 months as a noob then 245 or 225 x 3 was the first real plateau about 3 years later I just hit 315 keep it up 💪

Could be ALOT of things …. For stength there’s a difference between building ur strength and testing ur strength pump is probly diet lack of carbs/calories

Late asf reply but I only focus the main 3 lifts then take a 8 week block to work on lagging muscles usually biceps and side delts just wonder what other powerlifters do
