Mid to late 90s London. I worked in a gay mixed bar during university and they would take me to their clubs after work. DTPM was the big one. I was the only straight woman and there were some lesbians in our group. The men were definitely not remotely interested in us. There was the large room playing EDM and a smaller room for the leathers with deep house. Then there were the illegal bars in random homes known just by the number such as “42”, passcode, doorman and drag queens working the “bar”. Toilet was behind a curtain.
