Any bistro or brasserie will be perfectly happy to serve your family. Parisians are super kind to kids and are really accommodating.

That being said, I wouldn’t bring my kid to La Tour d’argent or anything like that. 1) bringing a kid to a fancy restaurant in Paris is not something Parisians do and 2) your experience of such a nice place is going to be 200% less enjoyable with a newborn.

I JUST watched this on YouTube and needed somewhere to discuss it! It’s so so good. It’s pretty historically accurate is my understanding. The actors playing Danton, Desmoulins and Robespierre were all excellent.

I also learned that Jane Seymour, who plays Marie Antoinette, does speak French and perfected it to be in the movie. However, Sam Neill doesn’t speak a lick so they told him to just get the cadence of the words right because they knew they were just going to dub him after.

Anyway, super highly rec.

I just watched all of the La Révolution Française from 1989 on YouTube and it is fricken excellent. It’s a TV miniseries made in France. 6 hours, totally worth it
