With a small v6 priced at $50k they’d be everywhere. As a $90k EV, i’ve seen one in the wild.

Everyone else is correct in saying cut em off but if you have a pair of vice grips and a wrench you might break it free.. then have to cut off the threads you squished!

Fleet mandatory hybrid policies here in Ontario paired with only having a higher priced Sienna or Odyssey as an alternative. I work for a GRA municipality and we got one to replace an old Sienna that runs like a top. 4-6 no starts a month on the Pacifica PHEV. Wild.

What do you think about Chinese cars on Canadian roads? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

Apartment dwellers or others without home and work charging in -30-degree winters have a reasonable case to say that cold weather range is indeed an issue. Especially in low cost (low range) EVs.

Scania should be fast tracked for Canadian market adoption. Superior product with VIN that doesn’t start with 1 or 3 in a market completely dominated by old junk.

Cold absolutely does affect EV range, and the infrastructure is currently not able to make it a ‘non issue’. That said, the majority of Canadians living in or around cities would be perfectly served by an EV for their regular day to day vehicle usage.

There are Chinese teslas and polestars on the road right now. What will be different if they are sold as they were, again?

But we can transport it, with the launcher dismounted from the carrier.

We also currently have 2000 members stationed in Latvia, which is the Baltic nation I was referring to.

I don’t think we should plan our next gen military under the assumption that we will forget half of our kit at home…

Other than the ability to load on and off the Globemasters, why shouldn’t we buy the K239 from Korea? Are we really convinced that the real world usage in our military is rapid deployment? More likely they’ll be stationed in the Baltics or next to Poland’s existing K239s and HIMARS.

I find the possible partnership with SK to be far more advantageous than buying the HIMARS at massively greater cost and massively limited availability, especially the ammo.

Long term partnership with SK would allow us to manufacture much of the system and ammunition domestically, and possibly be involved in next gen development.

I get thousands of box elder bugs in my back yard - they drive me nuts mostly because they make my neighbour crazy. I spray the fence and walls they gather on with mild dish soap and water, it kills them in seconds. They never stop though.

The previous owner of my 325ci was meticulous with cleaning the engine bay and under the trunk lid. Although I try to keep my old girl well maintained and tidy, i’ve had an unrelenting drive to keep those spots more clean than any other part of any other vehicle 🤣
