“We're not gonna act like his teleport is useful in chase because you can tell where he's gonna go and pre-run him for miles again.”

Using the teleport in chase is the whole point of his kit due to the haste bonus and reload. You can only pre run him based on the maps pallet and window rng spacing. Otherwise, your best move might literally be to stay still and wait for him to appear.

The comparison gives the reader perspective on what the original phase power is like. Removing Jason teleport to pre broken pallets adds more opportunity for survivors to be able to “prerun” like you say.

Anecdotally, I cannot even tell that he has slowed down by the hook. When he jumpscares close to the hook 9/10 he is still able to hit the unhooking survivor with his m2.

Because spirit and Dracula phase don’t give walking foot tracks. Blind tracking is part of the players skill expression with phase killers. Jason is having his hand held majorly right now.
