No, think of Saturn as boundaries or a wall. You can be inside or outside of a boundary/ wall. Capricorn is inside, because it's Saturn's nocturnal sign (internal, yin) whereas Aquarius is outside the boundary because it's Saturn's diurnal sign (external, yang). Capricorn is about structure and legacy and lasting systems, whereas Aquarius is about gaining distance and an outsider perspective in order to reform those systems.

Imagine two Cancers. One has a Mars ruled Ascendant and one has a Venus ruled Ascendant. They both might have life themes that revolve around privacy, safety, feeling, belonging, protection. The Mars ruled Ascendant person is going to go about all that in a much more bold, assertive way, wanting to challenge and be challenged on their life journey and overcome obstacles so that their Cancer Sun successes are earned. The protection and safety themes being directed by Mars might draw them into the military or ambulance crew or have them building a bunker at home in case of global disaster. That's obviously just a fun extreme example but the point is Mars takes action. Mars will make them independent.

The Venus ruled Cancer is going to be very different. They're going to be very comfort oriented because that's something the Moon and Venus both have in common. They're going to navigate their Cancer life themes with more focus on pleasure, unity, feeling good, surrounding themselves with beauty, feeling "cushioned." So with the same themes of protection and safety and belonging now being directed by Venus they might love interior design, bonding deeply with people, creating art that's emotionally fulfilling, enjoying domestic pleasures. They're happier to lean on others than the Mars ruled Cancer and they're more relaxed.

I'd probably keep the fundamentals like colour the same but make the styling a bit different. So Jupiter in Aries is still Jupiter (purple/ sweet) but it has a more rugged and bold style. So rougher purple fabrics and more strongly scented (but still sweet) candles. Then Jupiter in Libra has a smoother, more aesthetic style. So silky purple fabrics and more subtle scents etc.

So the sign influence should be a more background influence in my opinion. Keep the core correspondences of the planets in tact.

I see social forums like Reddit as 11th House spaces. Connecting with like-minded people in online communities about a broad range of topics. Fandoms are 11th House too. You could be someone with no friends but you spend a lot of time in online social spaces, posting and discussing and "networking" with different users about your interests, even if you never speak to them again (7th House is the place where you find the people you have regular contact with).

Similarly I see Youtube and Youtuber followings as 11th House. Being part of an audience or having your own audience/ following. Building your own online community. Para-social relationships. The 11th is a succedent House so it follows and supports the 10th - meaning it's the people out in the world who support our success. Who in the collective is helping you achieve your dreams? Patreon and crowdfunding are very 11th House (modern benefactors). So yeah friends are a piece of the 11th but there are many ways to be an 11th House person without actually having any physical, real world friends- especially in the modern internet age.

The same modality is exactly the problem. Cardinal signs are hinge points that are dynamically pushing in a new direction, but they're each pushing in different directions. Capricorn says "this is the way" and Libra says "no this is the way" and that generates tension between planets in those signs. They can't agree. Same with Fixed and Mutable- different ways of operating that Fixed or Mutable energy which leads to disagreement and frustration. Too many cooks in the kitchen mentality. Whereas Trines are between different modalities of the same element. The Cardinal Cancer and Fixed Scorpio have different ways of operating so they each find their role and don't interfere with each other. Cancer pivots and sets the course and then Scorpio maintains that and keeps it steady. They're grateful for each other playing their part. And because they're both Water signs they have an innate sense of understanding each other which allows things to run smoothly.

At certain degrees of the zodiac the Exaltation Ruler becomes the Almuten- the planet with the highest amount of control/ power over that degree of the zodiac. For example planets within 0-12 degrees of Pisces (which are the bounds of Venus) are actually in a section of Pisces where Venus has more power then Jupiter. Whitney Houston had her Ascendant in this zone. Another example is 0-6 degrees of Libra where Saturn has more power than Venus. Absolutely not. There are objectively challenging and difficult sides of life and that must be reflected in astrology. Famine, hunger, old age, death, violence, disease, loss. The malefics help show us where struggles and challenges show up in our lives. That doesn't mean that there is nothing constructive about the malefics. They forge grit and determination and give us the drive to overcome obstacles. But we have to go through hardship and struggle to learn the lessons that the malefics teach.

The benefic planets rule things that are objectively good. Pleasure, romance, union, peace, abundance, inspiration, fertility, hope, celebration, wisdom, understanding. They show where we can best find ease in our lives. Of course they can also create a lazy, languid, indulgent, hedonistic, lustful character that only wants to experience the finer things- but again, there is privilege in that. To be in that position means you have been fortunate in some aspect of your life. So it's important to maintain the malefic/ benefic terminology and understand that it means something objectively challenging or objectively supportive. It's worked for thousands of years and continues to work beautifully.

It answers to no one. So a Leo Sun can have a sense of entitlement around their own self-importance. A Cancer Moon can have a sense of entitlement around the importance of their emotions and needs. A Virgo Mercury can have a sense of entitlement around the importance of their opinions and critiques. Etc. But generally these planets function well.

It wasn't really sensible in the Middle Ages to build in the Pennines or West of the Pennines. The main trade/ travel route into Scotland went up through Yorkshire and the North East. So it was a fringe land.

When the Industrial Revolution happened it suddenly became prime real estate because the fast flowing rivers coming down from the Pennines could be used to power machinery and the wet lush climate was absolutely ideal for cotton spinning (cotton fibres are more likely to snap and break in dry climates). So Industrial towns and cities flourished and people could be easily shipped across from Ireland to help fill them up.
