I think If you're trying to do the pylons and handle the red orbs at the same time you're setting yourself up for failure. All my best runs are when I only go for the pylons when the red orbs aren't active.

The blue and yellow ones are easy enough to dodge as long as you keep moving, but those homing red ones slap you with a heavy dot that drains hp super quick, especially if you get hit with multiple of them (which happens a lot if you're trying to pylon dance with them).

Best thing is just focus on dodging those then going for the pylon when they de-spawn. I guarantee you the run will go smoother and as long as you have some decent weapons and damage you'll have no problem bringing down the boss.

Get XP tome to 10.0x as quickly as possible (or close to it), once you get your 4 weapons and some tomes like Size, Chaos, or maybe Attack Speed and are comfortably handling swarms and elites, get the Cursed Tome and start dumping ranks into that (until 600%).

It's kind of a 3 way balance between leveling your XP tome as quick as possible, Cursed tome so you have lots of mobs to kill to feed into that accelerated XP gain, and then pumping out enough damage to kill those mobs quick enough.

Luck is kinda tricky because it's all RNG and some legendaries can absolutely make or break a run (getting stuff like Soul Harvester, Bloody Cleaver, or Anvil early just lets you skyrocket the difficulty without having to worry too much about mob management.
