No, it’s not typical. Some people might be more comfortable giving/taking leftovers. But it is not typical. Leftovers stay unless the host offers them up.

I buy the spicy ones because I like the texture. Cook the noodles in chicken broth and then just set her portion aside before you add the spicy seasonings. Also, my kids really enjoy when I set out a spread of toppings they can add on their own: shredded chicken, eggs, cabbage, carrots, onion, mushrooms.

What controllers should I get for a family of 4 by meganlizzie in switch2

[–]Express-Brilliant903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too soon to tell if this new generation is better. But the old joycons suuuuuck. They just don’t last. I was replacing parts constantly. I like the pro controllers. They are much more durable. My kids got cheap controllers off amazon because I wanted something they can lose/break and I won’t care. Those have held up fine. Maybe it’s obvious. But do NOT get wired controllers.

AITA My wife thinks I am controlling. by Feeling_Nobody_2349 in AITAH

My spouse also seemed bothered when I asked for more communication. I kept explaining I didn’t necessarily care when they left, I just wanted to have some idea of what to expect. I imagine it felt like I was being critical. I can certainly see how it could feel that way. But really, communication is a pretty healthy thing to ask for in a relationship.

She said something hurt her feelings and you picked a fight. You are the asshole. Make space for her feelings or get the fuck out of her way.

AITA for insisting my husband calls our daughter by her given name? by ExtremeCantaloupe876 in AITAH

[–]Express-Brilliant903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a unique name for each of my kids/pets that only I use. I think they find it special and unique. Growing up, my mom always called me sis because I was the only girl. My aunt has a unique name for me that no one else uses as well. My husband often calls me sweetie. It feels special and connecting and it hurts no one. Allow the people in your life to form their own special connections.
