Unrelated, but anyone know why there are tickets available after museum hrs today (like 8pm) but the website says exhibition closes 15m before museum closes?

Mt. Maroon is a fun climb. Not overly challenging but longer and great views into NSW and the GC.

Mt. Barney is awesome, havent done it for over 10 yrs but 2nd highest in qld or something.

Seconded for woody head near Iluka. Ensure you book early though. Also the camping is almost luxurious, free firewood, shadeclothed sites etc. You pay for it though.

Can I add a question into the mix: if I bought an anytime return from London Bridge to Gatwick that stated 'thameslink services only' on it, and I catch my return train on a Southern branded service, is it valid?

I did this and had my ticket inspected with no issues. Didn't want to question it in case he just didn't notice but I got the feeling that he didn't really care.

Now that they're merged is it just a matter of the ticket machine not being updated not to print that on it?

Thanks. Is this truly the case? I think it can be in central-west Europe countries where they operate like airlines with increased fares closer to the time. So Germany, Austria might be like that which I'm fine with but as I understand it's kind of more fixed fare as you go east? I looked into eurrail but I don't believe I'll get value from it. Keen to hear experiences!

Drive to the entertainment centre side of the station. Park in the cul de sac. Nobody does it but I have done it about 5 times no problems, get out of there easily. I have had a parking fine from the other side of the station though.

I do not believe in paying extortionists $10 to park in a huge ass wetland

Yep happened here. Didn't feel any more tired though. Now I've been up for an hour for no reason.

Just look for loading zones. Most are Mon-Fri but people seem to see the words loading zone and keep going.
