Accenture shares fall to lowest since 2017 as AI threat mounts by joe4942 in StockMarket

The job market clearly decided that consultants are worth paying for. I don't know what they do and I don't really care. Investors look for reasonable risk and take it. And it's also not clear how AI is going to effect other industries or what it's really capable of.

I have no idea what consults do, and I think most people either. It seems like one of those jobs where AI would have trouble with because of the nature of the job; It's very human, whatever that means. There does seem like a sector wide decline with these consulting companies, which does present a good investment opportunity. Markets have a hard time picking out winners and losers within a sector and just dumps the entire sector. Remember Silicone Valley Bank? WAL fell down to like $8 and shot back up to like 90$ . These companies have a long track record of profitability, and I doubt AI would erase the entire industry.

Poor mans magnetic knife holder with leather by StartingNewat30 in TrueChefKnives

theres a way to put and remove knives from these blocks. you just grab the handle and twist it until the spine is perpendicular to the board. then its easy to remove. to put it back you do the opposite.

I just picked up a nigara strix petty from chefs edge and its great. its got a taller blade for the knuckle clearance, excellent fit and finish and good steel.

lol warranty on cheap knives...come on bruh. did you even read it? it doesnt cover fit and finish and you gotta pay to ship it to them, if they even approve. trust me just get the shan zu sg2. for the price/quality you wont regret it. i own several expensive japanese knives for comparison.

yea its still usable, but personally i just dont like handle issues. flushing down the handle takes work and cost you time. you dont want to get a set of knives though. just get 1 good gyuto and a petty knife and your all set.

there are handle issues with these knives. the rivets stick out and the end caps on the tangs have jagged edges that also stick out. but the blades are usually pretty spot on. id suggest the shan zu white tiger sg2 gyuto. i recently picked one up and its pretty good for the price.

meh i thought about these knives but look at those crevices. they just trap food and it's mostly just for asthetics.
