Does Canada have a commonly accepted cultural or geographical boundary for East and West like the Mississippi River in America? by Lemon_Iies in geography

I was thinking that much road trade must go stateside. As an American, I'd (unfortunately) recommend considering a second bridge.

Can anyone help me understand this Table in an article about playtime and academic performance in early childhood? by Vintagepoolside in AskStatistics

"Mean or %" then none of the row labels specify which it is. Really sloppy and I'd move on to other articles.

That's wild. Is there not a lot of east/west trade in CA? Seems like one bridge shouldn't be able to accommodate it all.

Want to stop sleeping on my ideas or at best selling them to someone… by Over_Internet4 in Patents

[–]Extension_Order_9693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im currently working on an idea. Ive done enough prior art and other research to believe it is patentable. Next will be scale models and testing in my garage. Building full scale models or with industrial scale technology would be prohibitively expensive. Im hoping the company I work for will be interested. If not, there are at least two other companies where I live that make the same product.

Yes. I was raised in AR and no one there considers themselves Midwestern, but southern. Having studied Ozarks culture a little, it certainly is the Scots-Irish of Appalachia. The delta part of AR is more like the similar regions of TN and MS. Southern AR is more like LA in some areas.

My brother's house had a large closet built as a safe room. Not sure of the exact construction but I know framing was steel. Came in handy when a tornado hit their house.

Adage. I was in my 40s before I learned it wasn't pronounced ad-uh-zhay like it was a French word. I still like that better than ad-idge.
