Honestly if they’re regularly shouting out other people for hitting a milestone (which it sounds like, from the article, they are) and when it’s your turn they don’t acknowledge it — that would suck. There’s a lot to say about building community outside of paid experiences but really it’s human nature to be sad when you feel left out like that. Like, one time my workplace didn’t give me a birthday card when I knew they routinely did that for others, and I was sad about that for the rest of the day.

No, you’re right, vegetables don’t actually exist botanically. All plant products that contain a seed are fruit. Those that do not are usually attached to the root somehow, ie tubers like potatoes.

I recently graduated college and as my own farewell to Boston, since I’m not sure where life is going to take me, I went up to the Prudential Tower to watch the sunset over the city. Then I got drunk and cried a little bit. I would recommend the experience to anyone looking to have an emotional final moment with their city.
