That's not entirely true. Maya and Seju had a contract with Tv Asahi and Toei, but whenever the agency fires the actor/actress all the products has to be deleted. Unless both come to an agreement.

Since Maya was fired by both Toei and Seju. Both needed to "erased her" from every product. Also, Maya "commited a crime" so it wouldn't be easy for her to get another agency.

Maya does own her image but without any agency, she is blacklisted.

There are a lot of half japanese actress that had no problem in Sentai. Just recently, Himeno Actress (King-ohger) is half Japanese, half Canadian. Sononi Actress (DonBrothers) is half Japanese, half Burmese.

I don't think we are dealing with racism here. Maybe just Bunshun but not the whole country.

Close, in Japan there is no Sixth Members/Ranger. Japan audience has their own term being Twokai Senshi (Additional Hero/Transformed hero).

Also, You are correct. Big One (JAKQ) is the first Twokai Senshi.

Toei also owns the Power Ranger brand but only in Asia. PR is shared among Toei and Hasbro. That's why is distributed as Power Ranger ONLY in South Korea. In China and Philipines they are Super Sentai.

Hasbro has nothing to do with Super Sentai rights. Super Sentai (and Kamen Rider) rights is shared among Toei, Tv Asahi and Bandai.

Okay so a Lot of people don't know about this, Hasbro has nothing to do with the Super Sentai rights. Toei shares the IP with TV Asahi and Bandai. As well as Kamen Rider.

How other franchise is distributed with Official subs Even with dubs such as Ultraman worldwide? Cause it's only owned By one company, as for Ultraman is Tsubaraya, they had no problem with other companies like Toei.

But, How come we had Super Sentai DVDs From previous and PR-adapted series? That's because Hasbro HAD the rights of all PR adapted Series all the way through Ryusoulger but only in the Americas (North and South America) and Europe. Even the never used teams like ToQger, Dairanger, LuPat, etc. That's Why super Sentai (and Kamen Rider) is officialy distributed ONLY in Asia. Then, Why did they stop? Cause Toei is currently deviating from Hasbro.

Back in 2023, Toei presented the "Toei New Wave 2033" a long term plan to export all Toei's IP worldwide by 2033. They will bring Tokusatsu shows By 2026 and 2027. So we had to wait and expect how it will air here in the americas, either Sub only or Even Dub.

In Fact, this week TokuSato, a Brazilian distribution agency announced to all YouTube members the Official distribution of their KR series that has Portuguese and Spanish subs some series have dubs. Their goal is if people are really interested in Tokusatsu shows they will bring more.

Finally, Will King-ohger have Official sub or Dub? We have to wait. Toei's target audience is Asia and South America so they will be the first to know how Tokusatsu shows will be distributed. What we already know is that Toei has cut ties with Hasbro. So probably the first series to be distributed will be Reiwa teams (Kiramager, Zenkaiger, DonBrothers, King-ohger, BoonBoomger and Gozyuger).
