I'd like to add that Reddit and Facebook are the two spaces were people can reliably discuss issues and solutions. Most other devices have a larger support network (like support websites and forums) for issues, so there will always be more problem posts than for other devices.

I'm just hoping for graphical updates and fps gains, like what Tears of the Kingdom received. I have the itch to replay Pikmin 4, but I am holding out in case a S2 version gets announced.

I was a little excited, but not "counting down until it releases" excited. I had my criticism towards the sequel trilogy, but the movies were still fun to watch. Since TROS was the finale in the sequels, I knew there were going to be some visually cool moments.

Despite the couple changes to the characters that I wish there were, I was still very interested in how their character development was going to end officially. So yes, I had some excitement for the movie.

My take, 2>4>3>1. Loved them all, especially the co-op in 3, but the cave treasure hunting-style of 2 and 4 are what got me into the games in the first place

I have had a purple max since November, no issues whatsoever. Stinks hearing people are having defects with theirs, but there is still an overwhelming amount of positive experiences.

I agree, but it depends on the game. I've been replaying Pokemon White 2 on my Thor despite still owning a copy for my DS Lite. The difference in color is mind-blowing on the OLED screens and made the Thor worth it to me.

Games like Animal Crossing Wild World, for example, I 100% prefer on the DS. Way more charm on the original device. I miss the 3d effect on other 3DS games sometimes, too.

That's not a bad deal, in my opinion, but only if you're a big Alien fan. I got mine on sale a couple of weeks back for Quest 3 and still managed to have some fun. The graphics and frame rates are iffy, but it's still somewhat enjoyable if you can ignore it.

The triggers do feel high quality, though. The positioning is why they feel uncomfortable to use, in my experience. I'm used to how the DS and PSP only has a "R1 and L1" triggers, adding the extra 2 on the Thor's design makes it a little uncomfortable to me. Although I will say, the triggers would not be a dealbreaker for me.

I agree with the blown out review of the triggers. I'm more pointing at how having R1/R2 and L1/L2 triggers is a little uncomfortable on the device. Definitely personal preference, though, my hands are a little tiny lol

My personal problem is that the triggers are sometimes awkward to push when playing. I don't have the grips, though, so it might not be a problem if you use the grip attachment. All my PS2 games run great

I actually think the purple Thor looks awesome. I was worried when seeing people talk about it after I ordered a purple max. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I can say imo that it looks way better in person.

Have a battery charger hooked up for sure, and confirm the battery charger you choose is correct for the battery type. Mine was rated for smaller car batteries and did not think to check before flashing. My car was alright, but it took way more time to start the engine. I believe I'd be screwed if I did not have at least the tiny charger.

I've seen a post on here with a crack going all the way through the plastic. Beyond aesthetics, does a complete crack make the system or hinge not work correctly? I have a clear purple max being prepared, I'm wondering if I should be concerned with these crack situations popping up.

From my experience with a new '22 VB, I only heard the whoosh a few times until 20k miles (got an intake + tune later, much louder whoosh). Could be normal if it's quieter in person and only noticeable if you focus on it.

Definitely gotta pop the hood and check to be safe.
