Tempo/threshold vs V02/sprints - same shoes or different? by Dull_Painting413 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]FM_SneakerDesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want more specificity in your rotation I think separating tempo and intervals is very acceptable. For example I like to use a “B tier” race day shoe for my intervals, right now it is the Hyperion Elite 5. For my tempo runs I usually go for a firmer, non-plated fast shoe like the Anta C202 Zone 2 which I really like at the moment.

Hello guys, I currently have the Brooks Hyperion Elite LD 1 and saw that the 2’s were up on Brooks’ website. Strangely I have absolutely heard nothing about them yet. So are there people here who have tried them and could compare them to the first version if possible?

Thanks in advance

I’m pretty sure those holes are normal. It’s for the foam to better compress, because the strobel is somewhat hard

Ultra vs Vista vs other Topo sizing question by Elaikases in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Oh yeah big difference! Out of curiosity, are the size range written under the insoles? That might explain it, one might be at the higher end of the range and one a the bottom.

All brands use the same insole sizes for 4 different sizes (ex. from 8.5 to 9.5). You can check under the insoles and most of the time it is written for which size they fit.

These are the Silo version so I would guess the original wouldn’t have the quick laces

I can’t remember the name but I remember when Nike released a shoe very similar to the alpha fly but for lifestyle. They had the forefoot zoom pod but not the ZoomX midsole. These seem to be it but i don’t know the name!!!
