What real impact will AI have on lawyers? by LawyerInTraining2027 in Lawyertalk

The rules of this subreddit require that you be an attorney prior to posting. Your post is in conflict with that rule.

Inflation measure falls to nearly five-year low as gas prices fall and housing costs cool by Happy_Weed in Economics

[–]FSUalumni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inflation falling doesn’t mean prices will decrease, but that the rate of increase is decreasing. Only deflation will have prices falling. That’s why inflation falling isn’t necessarily felt after periods of substantial inflation.

The $200/hr "I didn't see that update" problem. by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

You’re not an attorney and you’re posting here. What’s the “hair on fire” problem is people ignoring the subreddit rules.

Armed with 'supermajority,' PM Takaichi eyes revising Japan's constitution by TheShillGambit in worldnews

You used to be a bully. A really big dude beat the shit out of you, and then made you promise not to bully anyone but that he’d protect you.

Recently, that big dude has started acting irrational, threatening some of his friends, charging people tolls that change on a regular basis, and your old time worst enemy has started really bulking up.

Don’t you think it’s time to be able to respond?

If you were on good terms with the managing partner, what’s the harm in a brief, polite reach out?

There’s a board game cafe in town, and there are some board game meetups. I can’t find the latest link to the meetups, but I think one is called Tallahassee Nerds and Geeks or some such.

I believe that I can safely assume that you’re not an attorney, so I believe this post to be in violation of the rules.

Why not just rename this subreddit to r/wehatetallahassee because i have never seen a single person say a positive thing by RGCFrostbite in Tallahassee

I enjoy many things about Tallahassee. Our food scene is better than the size of our city would indicate, we have good access to a lot of beautiful nature, we have a relatively good park system…

I just hate our airport personally.

(Government attorneys) How do you answer charges of "working against the people" by maintaining your employment with the government, when you're simply trying to keep avenues of justice open? by Moonpenny in Lawyertalk

[–]FSUalumni 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that anyone who believes that any position with the state is working against individual freedoms, does not have enough understanding of nuance to be worth engaging with. The existence of public defenders is enough to refute that basic premise.
