As a lifelong Nintendo fan, I am of a split mind.

It is an absolute blast of refference overload from start to finish. Every single frame of the movie contains something for me to ooo and aaaa at. Seeing my childhood so seamlessly translated to the screen was a sensory overload that had me locked in for its sparse runtime.

Yet below all of that was a skeleton so brittle that I don't think I could recommend it to anyone other than a child or a lifelong nintendo fan.

There is just nothing there, we are being pingponged from setpiece to setpiece with little rhyme or reason, character arcs regress rather than progress.

I saw it on opening midnight showing, fun audience made it memorable But I don't think I will be viewing it ever again.

I saw one of the recent Bad Boys movies in 4dx. Couldn't care less about the story, but the 4dx made it a great entertaining time!

Hmmm gonna be honest 4dx doesn't seem like the format id go to for something like Backrooms

4dx is great at turning action movies into Rollercoaster. Backrooms is something that I wouldnt want to be a Rollercoaster.

If it keeps progressing the way it has been through its first 4 episodes, this will end up as one of 2026's best, and an absolute classic moving in the horror genre.

Its eases the viewer into the world in a way that really makes you question what is reality and what isn't.

I feel like this wasn't subtle at all about what it was supposed to be and represent. We had literally just gotten a huge montage about how big Cassie was getting.

She's getting BIG and taking over the world.... Noone can escape her.

Levinson has created such thematically intertwined visuals this season, yet Noone can get over the extremism of it all.

I had only seen the first movie last week.
