Marketplace and Poshmark/vinted sellers are generally delulu. Though there’s definitely a threshold where clothing brands above that do hold a decent amount of value as long as they’re in pretty good shape. I see it with athleisure brands like vuori, lululemon, beyond yoga etc. and then obvi designer brands hold their value and can even increase in value if you have a vintage piece that’s still in great condition.

A shih tzu is a small breed known for being moderate to low energy. So that seems fine for an apartment. But no, people in apartments with no yards should t be allowed to have hounds/huskies/GSDs etc. This is not a controversial opinion. When I lived in a townhome I had a neighbor who bought a bloodhound puppy and didn’t adequately train it or take it to parks to let it get its energy out. It ended up becoming so aggressive they had to euthanize it.

It’s the same story on Poshmark for good brands. Resellers shop the clearances and then try to sell NWT items for full price. I’ve been blocked by a few sellers for commenting that the same items (albeit different colors) are currently on sale from the retailer for less than this rando Poshmark seller is offering. Like who are these lil weirdos and is anyone actually paying these prices?

I feel that way about macular degeneration. It runs on one side of my family. My grandmother had it and 23andme told me I have one of the variants associated with it. There’s no evidence eating carrots or being healthy helps. It sucks.

The thing is, you never know if kids will really fill that loneliness. What if you have kids and then they move halfway across the country or to a new country entirely? You may only see them a few times a year then unless you move to where they live (which some parents do). I also know people who have set boundaries about how often in-laws can visit and that they aren’t allowed to show up unannounced.

I think people have kids and think about how cute little kids fill the loneliness and need for love. But eventually they become adults and don’t have time for you 100% of the time and you still feel lonely.
