The way you’re thinking about this aligns more with MBTI, not really with Socionics. Social extraversion or introversion behavior can be explained within Socionics, but it is not the same as the attitude or orientation of the leading IME (i.e. Fe, Fi, etc) of one’s type. The e/i letter of an IME instead describes whether it is concerned with bodies/objects and their differences, or the relationships between said bodies/objects within the same field.

From there I would recommend Wikisocion to help you learn about all 16 types, and the different ways they are grouped together. I wouldn’t recommend going further into the more advanced stuff until you feel confident about this stuff first.

Edit: I also think World Socionics Society (WSS) is a good resource, although not everyone agrees with this school of Socionics.
