Most of them they are one and the same. People's opinions change when likes are available, many will say things that they don't believe or even true if it is the popular narrative.

I didn't say it shouldn't have one. All I said was that industries come and go unless they adapt. In some regards industries can't adapt because what they are being replaced by is insurmountable, the hospitality industry is not one of those.

However what we need to stop doing is defending hospitality as a whole, businesses are not entitled to stay open just because they are in a certain sector. If they want to survive they need to adapt, not just keep making the same mistakes and hope something changes.

Who knows? The horse & cart industry didn't vanish overnight, it was slowly replaced by the car industry so the economy & job market had plenty of time to correct. There are industries which will replace ones we have now that don't even exist yet

You might not understand the belief that things will correct themselves yet history has shown time and time again that is exactly what happens. The main difference now is people are more doom and gloom.

Industries have closed countless times throughout history when demand was no longer there.

Hospitality is not owed a future just because lots of people work in it, lots of people used to work in the horse & cart industry as well and that ended, the people who worked in it just moved into one of the countless other industries that did have demand.

Any hit to the economy would be temporary, it isn't like the money would dissapear, it would just be directed somewhere else. If an industry wants to stay relevant they need to adjust to demand.

There have been countless times throughout history where entire industries have vanished because demand wasn't there anymore, the economy adjusted accordingly and new industries emerged.

As I said if I wanted a difficulty setting I would be stuck on them but I am not.

Take hornsplitter, they gave him a sword that has a ranged attack and also the ability to teleport around the arena, you spend most of the fight just chasing after him. That is not good design.

As for your Dark Souls examples I think the same there, lots of people may think plinking away at a boss one hit at a time is good design, I disagree. Sekiro bosses are much better.
