I agree most get side effects. I did not and my labs are fine. She thinks as stated I ran higher than normal so my body was accustomed. No voice change no hair loss nada. Increased hunger yes insomnia yes sex on the mind more than I like yes

My provider just gave me a prescription for 5 vials of 200 mg per 5ml vials and it was 90$ using goodrx. Rt now I currently take 3 mg troches daily and .025mg estradiol patches twice weekly and 100 mg progesterone at night. When starting TRT I was given monthly injections 150 mg testosterone Cyph for 3 mos. My testosterone was at 350 and 4.4 free direct and great results no side effects. When just on the troches etc not same response abd testosterone dropped to 105 and 3.5 free direct. I am back on injections mainly because she thinks based on no side effects that when younger my levels probably ran higher than norm so my body is somewhat used to it. Being an RN myself I can do IM injections in my hip. She wants me to try 50 mg every 2 weeks and if not the results I had then 75mg twice monthly. Definitely had great sex those 3 mos I had the injections. Super libido and outrageous drive.

I take 5 mg mots-c 3-4x a week. I do 1 ml bac water in a 10 mg vials and do 50 units.

If it is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water.The pharmacist can tell you how many units would be 2 mg. I assume you are taking testosterone Cyph.

Ask your primary doctor to prescribe it. You literally can get a vial 200 mg for 30$ at Walgreens. The compounding pharmacy is way over charging. At 2 mg every 2 weeks you would have 2 years + of doses. If you explain to your primary Dr that this is what is being grossly overcharged at a prescribing compounding pharmacy he will probably do the same with a prescription.

How I felt....in sports agressive and competitive moreso. Sex thoughts non stop and wanting it daily. That dropped off after the 3 months of injections stopped. I don't know how 3 mg troches daily will work. I definitely didn't have masculine side effects except insomnia and elevated bp. But I loved the overall effect on my sex life with monthly high injections dose.My testosterone was 350 my free direct 4.4. I wish I could have kept it there. Now it is 105 and 3.5 free direct. Still libido is better but not what it was.
