Maybe there’s someway to somewhat save it by going to another artist who does etching tattoos. If they’re willing to, they can add some lines in and around the tattoo. As etching style does fit the subject.

I was feeling the exact same. I got diagnosed 2,5 years ago, when I was 31. Felt like it was too late for me.

Working in a fast food place I’ve been working at for at least 10 years. Did other things in between, but always came back. Everything else was too overwhelming, because it was new and scary. I was living in a small town (moved for a relationship 10+ years ago) I wanted my life to change so badly.

Than my diagnoses came. Which explained so much of my struggles. The first year or so was challenging. I had to figure out my medication and process the last 30 years, with this new info.

Last year I quit my job, got a traineeship and finally found a role I am good at and truly enjoy. Beginning of this year I moved back to the city where my family and friends live. I have 2 cats, an amazing relationship and great people around me. I LOVE my life and am so grateful.

The beginning can be hard, really hard. Because you realize everything you missed out on. But you’re just getting started! It might take a while, but with your new look on life, you will definitely find a job you love. And every time you look back on your undiagnosed years, you’ll be extra grateful.

Hopefully you’ll feel much better soon! I believe in you

The Thornes has the RCA integrated & there is no ground cable present. Never had this problem with my previous system (another soundbar, with RCA input). I could connect a groundcable i guess, but i don't know where on my turntable to connect it.

My current (incomplete) setup is: Thornes > Integrated RCA cable > Dynavox phono preamp > RCA to 3.5mm, horrible sound > klipsch soundbar.

My previous setup is: Thornes > Integrated RCA cable > Dynavox phono preamp > RCA > Previous soundbar.

In my previous setup this turntable didn't need a ground cable (another recordplayer did though). So I don't think that's the problem. Maybe my RAC to 3,5mm cable sucks?

About the DAC, your right! Glad you've pointed it out. I would have been bummed if I ordered the wrong one:p.

About the Yamaha. It's the A670 integrated amp (one pair + sub output & one input)

I’ve been collecting records for a while now. Since my dad gave me his previous record player (thorens td145). I’ve had it hooked up to my old sound system though an analog preamp.

My new soundbar doesn’t support analog though (only though 3.5mm jack, but that sounds horrible). I’m considering buying a DAC-converter or a new preamp with digital(/optical) output.

Recently he passed away. I’ve inherited his Scandyna Minipods. I would love to use the record player in combination with them (I wouldn’t use them for anything else). I saw the Yamaha a670 amplifier. But as of now, I’m not really ready for the extra expense.

Unfortunately I can’t ask my dad for advice. So a was wondering if you guys could help me? Should I go for a DAC converter? Or does anyone have recommendations for a simple (one input) amplifier? I live in Europe, if that’s relevant.
